I saw a statement on the official website of the GodBlogCon that made me curious and I’m having trouble getting clarification.

Something extremely important that was pointed out by Dr. Reynolds: The coordinators of GodBlogCon ‘06 tried by every possible means to get liberal Christians and liberal bloggers in general to come to this conference and represent their political and religious views. They turned us down.

This year’s conference at Biola University didn’t get media attention that I’ve been able to find, and the attendence was low. This statement is made at the end of a post  about a political panel.

I contacted one of the panel members, Dr. Andrew Jackson of Smart Christian, who  suggested I get hold of Dr. John Mark Reynolds. I find the above statement ambiguous so understandably I’ve been trying to track down Dr. Reynolds.  Since I have been unable to find an email addy for Dr. Reynolds on any blogs he posts on,  I submitted to the official media inquiries link.

I also queried by comment at the official site, I asked at an attendees blog but got no response as yet, and no response at the official site. I doubt the ‘liberal’ bloggers have anything to hide, I’m interested in knowing who they were, what were the ’every possible means’ tried, and why these unnamed ’liberals’ were unable to participate.

(a) Who were the ‘liberal’ Christians and ‘liberal’ bloggers the
coordinators of GodBlogCon contacted
(b) when they were contacted, and
(c) why did they turn you down?’
