As a result, over 1 million hits took place in a 24-hour period, starting at noon on October 18th, when Conservative caucus chair Rahim Jaffer announced to reporters that Garth was toast (and this was despite the fact the site melted down for several hours).
Hmmm, and here’s something of interest. Seems people in the prime minister’s office logged on enough to generate 16,000 hits. The Department of Finance generated 8,600 hits, while other Parliament Hill offices were responsible for more than 45,000 hits.
And I thought they didn’t care….
