Hi Kate:

I read every one before I posted, which I guess makes me one of your 7 thousand.:^)

I liked this one...

"Can't say I exactly understand. Isn't the purpose of a blog to write about oneself, or one's opinions?"

I hope linking to you gives people an opportunity for people to read for themselves.
Blog on!

"Let loose the party faithful".

An interesting turn of phrase. It assumes I have control over who reads the blog and who comments. It also assumes that the 7,000 or so visitors a day are made up of uniformly pro-Conservative readers. That's not the case, as you might have noticed if you'd actually read the comments, instead of just misrepresenting them.

Garth Turner, on the other hand, doesn't seem nearly as open to dissent. Perhaps you'd see fewer negative opinions of him at SDA and elsewhere if Turner weren't so quick to delete critical comments at his own blog.

For someone who so earnestly professes that he represents the will of his constituants, it seems not all of them get equal time.

My conservative friends wanted to find how to find things on blogs - thanks for the post.

Any deviation from the stated "party norm" makes some people apopolyptic.
