Over the past few weeks, World Net Daily and VCY Radio (and corresponding blog, Slice of Laodecia) waged a press release war against the appearance of Senator Obama at an AIDS conference scheduled at Warren’s mega church in California.

It got nasty, out of hand and over the top, with traditional media picking up the attacks by the two right wing sites.

Melissa Rogers has details about what really happened. As the senator became aware of anti-abortion groups agitating because he was speaking at a church, he offered to step aside.
