    Not that I’d expect a fair shake on this blog, but there was no apology, no damages paid.

    I respect Jordon Cooper very much and made a commitment to him to show you respect and courtesy.

    You wrote:

    “I posted a statement about a long-time political adversary yesterday. I offered to do so, and she did not force me to do so. No money exchanged hands, no apologies, just an expression of regret. My dictionary defines regret as this: “A feeling of disappointment or distress about something that one wishes could be different.”

    Tell me how you want the post above changed,  (I’ve crossed out apology) and I’ll change it, since this matters to you and you indicate you aren’t getting a fair shake here.

    Apology:
    n] an expression of regret at having caused trouble for someone;
    [n] a formal written defense of something you believe in strongly

  3. 3 Truth

    The real quicker in Kinsella’s retraction is his statement that he had no evidence of wrongdoing:

    “At no time in any dealings involving myself and Ms. O’Leary or at any other time did I observe any evidence of any kind that Ms. O’Leary was ever personally involved in improper contracting activity.”

    His testimony was intended to imply questionable contracting practices.

    Mr. Kinsella owes many, many people appologies for his testimony that day, namely the MPs.
