Rawhide on the Rideau. He even made an mp3.
A verse and chorus…
Strollin’, Strollin’, Strollin’,
‘Cross the aisle they’re strollin’,
Our MP’s are a-strollin’,
Rawhide!
Wajid, Belinda and Garth,
It’s enough to make a man barf,
The way they can jump from side to side.
Emerson’s another
Switched over to the others
And didn’t let the voters decide.
Stand ‘em up, Sit ‘em down,
Pound the desks, shout ‘em down,
Stand ‘em up, Sit ‘em down,
Rawhide!
Whip the vote, Yay or Nay,
Don’t listen to what the voters say,
Count ‘em up, Yay or Nay,
Rawhide!

Whooee! Thankee fer the link-up, Bennie. I’m rollin’, rollin’, rollin’ a new tune ’round in my head. It’s gonna be t’ the tune o’ Murray McLaughlin’s farmer song an’ it’ll be ’bout tobacco farmers. In my neck o’ the woods, tobacco’s the big money crop. The tobacky farmers is the richest farmers in Canadee but our gummint’s plannin’ t’ pay ‘em a billion bucks t’ quit growin’. That works out t’ over a million a piece fer each o’ the 650 farmers.
