I realise that many in our community live in places where they would shrug off a major earthquake as a minor irritant, but English people are just not used to natural disasters. We can fight off the Nazis for five years but a millimetre of snow brings our infrastructure to a complete standstill.
Tonight, my little country is, for the second time in a month, under water. People are dying and hundreds are sleeping in school halls and the like. The flooding is as bad in some locations as the flooding was in New Orleans the other year, although on a much more local scale and without the muggings.
My dog show in Cumbria tomorrow is a complete wash out.
So please everybody, prayers for England and Wales (Scotland seems to have missed the worst this time) and Americans, could you just mention the Kyoto Agreement to your nice Mr Bush again? Perhaps he could get around to doing something positive before we all fecking drown.

The Mad Priest is not one to complain, so if he suggests we pray, right then, we pray. The UK is experiencing extreme weather, parts of the country are in a state of emergency and it is not over yet.
