Vision TV, a multi-faith channel has found itself the subject of complaint.

I would think attempting to be a multi-faith broadcaster it receives a lot of complaints.

That aside, The National Post has the story, reactions from The Canadian Muslim Congress, The Canadian Jewish Congress, nothing from any other groups such as The Catholic Church or mainstream protestant denominations.

The show in question is Dil Dil Pakistan, and it featured an hour long talk by a Pakistani scholar and militant.

Update: Voice of the Martyrs Canada says it is not permitted to air it’s reports about persecution on Vision TV

Update:  After fielding complaints from last week, Vision TV put Israr Ahmad back on the air this past weekend. The Canadian Jewish Congress is filing a complaint with the CRTC.

I think it should be very clear to all involved that promoting an expansionist aggressive ideology of Islam widely considered in the west to be “radical”, should be censored on Canadian television. We don’t need to nurture hateful feelings among muslims of western society or western religions. I find it disappointing there is a religious channel at all, but then I suppose it’s legally supported.
