Schools Matter has better details than most news sites about Texas Love Demonstrated Ministries.

They tie kids up at this 32 day boot camp and drag them behind a vehicle because they can’t keep up? And the kid goes back and finishes off the last two weeks?

This is quite the operation. Faith Outreach Centre International, Love Demonstrated Ministries, Christian Boot Camp, Cyber School.

Allegeding dragging a teenage girl behind a car. And selling stuff on their website. They’ll need the money for their court case.  The 3 hundred thousand dollars they got from the Office of Faith Based Initiatives won’t be enough for bail.

Authorities are investigating another claim of assault on the same girl in a different camp. Meantime Commandant Charles Flowers and camp worker Stephanie Bassitt have been charged with aggravated assault and are being held on 100 thousand dollars bail.

Aggravated assault? Dragging a 14 year old girl behind a vehicle. Attempted murder sounds more realistic. This has what to do with God exactly?

The alleged incident happened in June. The girl was treated at hospital and released.

Love Demonstrated Ministries reported private and government contributions totaling $314,673 to operate the boot camp, with nearly 89 percent of the costs, $278,549, going for salaries.

This ‘ministry’ doesn’t have to be licenced by the state of Texas because it only operates 32 days at a time.

“better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.”

Guess that was then this is now

Dragging that sinful child behind the van is EXACTLY what Jesus would have done … isn’t it?
