We simply don’t know yet, they could have been off duty cops for all we know.

This was an international summit - three guys get arrested and there is nothing.
Police got national media time to talk about rights…

Interesting it was peaceful people using none violent confrontation that stopped these three, not the police, isn’t it?

Looking at the video as soon as the three slip through the police line to get ‘arrested’ the police photographer filming the protesters puts down his camera.

It’s common for police not to tell their media spokespeople what is going on at a scene.

1) They don’t like media and often don’t think their media trained spokespeople are doing a real job,

2) They don’t want them lying so they don’t give their media people information. He probably isn’t lying - command wouldn’t give it to him.

I agree, it certainly isn’t standalone evidence - I wandered around e-bay and boot manufacturers and sellers, and checked police and military sellers and OPP and RCMP standard issue information.

CUPE has it up also.

The Pacific Tribune has photos with the yellow triangles on the bottom of the boots.

Someone wisely asked if these yellow triangles were a CSA logo.

There are 3 grades:

Grade 1
Internal CSA Label Colour
Green

Sole puncture protection
Green

Electric shock resistant soles external patch colour

Yellow

External patch colour Electric shock resistant soles
Red

External Patch Colour
White

That leaves the question, what kind of boots to the Surette, OPP and RCMP wear, and what colour is the outside safety patch colour?
