Started by Ezra Levant in 2004, the magazine has been unable to meet costs as a print magazine. It went to print twice a week.
The Western Standard is looking at continuing it’s on line presence, similar to political ideological cousins in the US such as Townhall. The Western Standard case with the Alberta Human Rights and Citizenship Commission will go forward as planned next month.
World Magazine, a neo-conservative Republican magazine in the US has also cut back it’s print run, because of costs and has revamped it’s website to a webzine called World On the Web.
