Let us pray for the life of the world, the intentions of all our community, and for any in sorrow or need.
We pray for the church everywhere on the earth, that the generosity and welcome of all God’s people might be our hope and our delight. Help us to mend all breaks and heal all wounds. Hear our prayer.
We pray for our island home, the earth—her seas, lands and ancient hills—that we and all who love this world might be forever vigilant in care and trust. Hear our prayer.
We pray for all who serve the law—lawyers, judges, police officers, and others—that the common good be fostered with justice and equity for all. Hear our prayer.
We pray for the lonely and the bereaved, for the sick and the dying, for my friends Joel, Barry, Bill and Jordon and for the homeless and the war-torn; help us to be your hands and your heart. Hear our prayer.
We pray for this and every community, that leaders in all walks of life be raised up and empowered to serve the servants of the world. Hear our prayer.
In thanksgiving we remember those who have died, and we pray for the day when we shall stand face to face in love and peace. Hear our prayer.
Into your hands, gracious One, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy, and we lift up our own petitions and prayers, confident of your steadfast love. Amen.

Nice. Very nice.
Did one myself, since I was inspired earlier today. It probably sounds more traditional, but…it’s partly based on the Beautitudes.
The people of Ontario knew John Tory was really just another Harris type of Americanized Tory when he opened his mouth. A party of nothing but a survival for the fittest mentality who in previous incarnations had started a war on the poor as their great opening triumph!
I’ve got news for you…Ontario REMEMBERS!
