A 36-year-old man was still listed in “extremely critical” condition yesterday after he sustained injuries during an arrest in Chilliwack on Monday.

Police confirmed a Taser, baton and pepper spray were used during the incident, but say “the exact reason for [the man's] condition is not known.”

There was no one around with a cell phone or camera to record what occurred, so Chilliwack residents will have to take the the police explanation as truth.
