And it isn’t even winter yet. I don’t plan to be standing under that when it slids off.

“And it isn’t even winter yet.”

I’m not a Canadian, but I am a expatriate Michigander. Up in my old home turf, winter starts about Thanksgiving and runs through March. We may not have the winter solstice until late December, but that’s not really when winter starts.

I’m a current Michigander and it must be “really” winter here as people are complaining about the cold. At it was 2 degrees C today! I left my coat in the car while out getting gas last night!

Of course, the less hardy school folks here canceled school last Monday on the threat of snow. There wasn’t actually snow, just the threat of it. But they canceled nonetheless. Sheesh!

Hi Hamster: The Wii is wonderful, there has been shovelling to do before play time. Ravin Rabbid’s II is on the Christmas list…now if it would only stop snowing.:^)

A retailer frined of mine thinks the Wii shortage is deliberate so people will want one even more, it took us a few months to get our hands on the little sucker, and it’s been worth every moment of fun.

Hey Gary, we’ve been running just below normal about -8C to -22C. Going up above 0C next few days, no wind, so that snow is going to slid off the roof. Beats going up there and moving it.
