Personally, I found the whole process of the Awards interesting - getting to discover a few more blogs along the way. At the time of last year's awards, I was working at the U of Alberta, and it was just plain fun to talk with so many students who said they were voting for my blog, or who started reading it during the voting. In addition, a few people who read my blog seemed inspired to start their own blogs, which was great to see.

I also think that that in my own Anglican circles, I was gratified to see that a blog can be recognized (via CBA) which does not focus all its energies on the current Anglican "troubles". So many Anglican bloggers seem to be simply "one issue" bloggers. Even though I do address Anglican issues (generally on the conservative/traditionalist side), I hope that other Canadian Anglicans who have read my blog see that our faith is more than simply one issue.
