		<description>Two good things, although the Pakistani news seems more encouraging; Fidel was out of the loop since late 2006 and Raul Castro's ascension to president merely codifies what's previously happened.

Now, if the two leading opposition parties can function as a team, Pakistan might just move forward. It's an encouraging sign that Musharraf let his butt get kicked in the election rather than trying to stack the deck somehow.</description>
