The information above comes from a panel presentation at the annual meeting of The  American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Researchers are putting what they have learned online at The Memorial Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism. The data base contains over 20 thousand incidents over 35 years. The site gives researchers, writers, law enforcement and interested people global information and the ability to analyse that information. The project is funded by grants from the US Department of Homeland Security.
