It brings out the kid in me, I admit it!

It was awesome, humbling, jawdroppingly beautiful. I am so grateful we understand what is occuring, it makes it no less amazing, and draws me to the wonder of a good, faithful Creator I often take for granted.

People here banded together to enjoy it with each other from start to finish.

(We layer for warmth, the air was still and dry so it doesn't feel that cold)

Not that long ago civilizations would have been in a panic and fear because they didn't have the knowledge of what was occuring. With our knowledge it remains thrilling.

I had a long hot bath after it was over and am sitting here with a hot pack on my neck before heading to bed.:^)

I hope you have the joy of seeing the next one.

-22C!

The eclipse was in the early hours of the morning here, and it was very cloudy so I didn't bother getting out of bed to have a look. Thanks for sharing your view.
