Dobson lost his way a long time ago and sensationalizing isn't new to his modus operandi. The families are more than equipped to meet privately and talk. There are mature believers perfectly able, willing and equipped to come along side, who understand life shattering loss doesn't need to be celebratized and paraded. That ‘Christian’ media is as exploitative as the ‘liberal’ media they rail about isn’t a surprise anymore.

The Church has it's problems, it has its shameful issues, and it has real people serving a real God help them serve real people. Humility and Pride is the ying and yang of the Church today. Maybe Dobson can't think of anything else to put out, so he focuses on the pain of others. I hope that someday we will realize that Jesus didn't advertise His help to others, other people did that for Him. He wasn't popular because He was focused on Himself. He was popular because He was focused on others. I hope that someday we as Christians will realize that we need to focus on others and truly love them and care for them, without getting national attention.
