CBC is running the first tape Canadians have seen of interrogations of former child soldier Omar Khadr. His is 16 in this interrogation, and is the only foreigner at Guantanamo who has not been expatriated to his home country.
It’s disturbing to watch this wounded frightened child soldier teen interrogated by CSIS agents.

It is beyond appalling that Canada’s government allowed itself to be sullied by participating in the barbarism of Guantanamo Bay - even peripherally.
That Harper refuses to do anything to remediate the situation six years after it began speaks to a government that lusts after political power and cares not a whit for Canada’s citizens.
According to one of the Newsworld presenters, they think he is saying “Kill me, kill me, kill me” .
It sickens me that Harper is so willing to sacrifice real due process and the human rights of a child to curry political favours of an administration that disgusts most Americans.
