World Vision has an outstanding record of helping children, their families and quick on the ground assistance in natural disasters. They use a model of training workers in the countries they serve. This is an agency whose overhead and advertising budget is outstanding.

I’ve had two door-to-doors in the time I’ve lived here. One was the Mormons and one was an Avon lady. Door-to-door is not common here.

I’m asking as many bloggers that can to pick this up, sponsor or help out any way you can.

World Vision has had to pull some kids out of their commercials because the budget is limited, and the kids are getting older. Our help is needed, but older kids don’t have the TV appeal.

So, students here have volunteered to go door to door to see if people will open their hearts and wallets and sponsor these kids who have had to be taken out of our spotlight.
I don’t know how many communities have been able to get students to do this, but we all know the need is great.
