What makes a good blog? (Don't you owe me some money?)

You do, with a little help from your twin. :) :) :>)

Just kidding about the money. And I lied about the help from your twin part....

As you well know, half the time I haven't a clue what you are talking about. You make a good blog all by yourself.

One thing I really appreciate in a blog is a specific point of view. I'm not talking about an ideology or a political perspective, but rather the point of view of someone with some specific expertise or experience. Like you! Or like Dave over at The Galloping Beaver, who is my guru for all things military. Or Senator Elaine McCoy. Or a couple of western bloggers I follow who know more than most about the Canada Wheat Board. Or blogs written from Iraq.

It's not essential, but it's what turns a mere blog into an invaluable resource.
