Are you really surprised? Harper’s only electable if he keeps his yap shut as much as possible, and keeps his party bound and gagged.
Could it be that people like Garth’s wild-eyed foamers went to Lisa’s site and threatened, insulted and used the most foul language possible? Which for decent people would make it something no one would want to read. Garth seems to have cleaned up his site for the campaign, but normally anyone with a conservative view could be expected to be personally attacked, things like; being called a bitch, a cow, fat, whore etc. Lisa is above that crap and yes, would shut the blog comments down IF that is what was happening. I know the characters that support Garth, little intelligence but very, very foul. Garth likes his attack dogs…
Could be, I honestly don’t know.
Are you able to find out if that is what occurred?

I’m not at all sure your comment is speculative and have taken the appropriate steps.
When I went to her blog a few times earlier in the week there were no comments, I’ve seen one comment that was not put through which has been placed online elsewhere, and the Raitt comment section has been removed.
I saw Mr. Turner’s post regarding Ms. Raitt’s blog which included a list of other blog posts. I am aware of the comment section death watch.
Did her technical people had a moderating cue operational?
Do you know what comments she received?
How many? When?
I get no sense she has written any of the posts, it appears it’s standard boiler plate issue stuff you’d find on all party candidates sites again this election.
Have you access to The Halton Conservative Party campagin to find out if ‘Garth’s wild-eyed foamers threatened, insulted and used the most foul language possible?’
Seriously.
I think this should be taken up with Peel Regional Police just as the threats to Garth Turner were, if the Raitt campaign and tech people have proof that is what occurred.
I hope you also notified Rob Wagner and Amy Collard’s staff.
I’d be happy to start by contacting Ms. Raitt’s riding office if you haven’t already.

Strangely, given the number of ReformaTory trolls I regularly see in the comments section over at Garth’s blog, I’d suggest that this allegation is a serious case of the pot calling the kettle black.
