Richard Hall of connexions has an interesting post (and equally interesting comments underneath) on the UK Evangelical Alliance blogger meet-up and the agenda for a code of conduct. It will be something I’ll be following through on (I hope) because much of the language of one of the speakers used the worn terms of the US group - New Media, the printing press, and develops categories different type of evangelical blogs. I thik this type of organizing rules and codes of conduct in blogging troubling - I hope I have the opportunity to see the diverse reactions of the 25 bloggers who attended.
Today at the Mission admits he can’t write posts about homeless dying anymore.
Dustin Steeves who has helped organize the US GodBlogCon says good-bye. The Christian Post was quick to put the pr up of The Action Institute plans for the future. I asked Andrew at Tall Skinny Kiwi how many attended (other blog says 60):
not sure but i think the numbers for the entire blog world were less than predicted (1000?) but thats not a negative thing necessarily because everyone who was there was a player - a real geek fest -
there wasnt much blogging because the schedule was hectic and everyone was having a great time.
also there were a lot of software geeks and they might not be avid bloggers.
Dustin Steeves was kind enough to write and said 80 attended the US event.
