Texas evangelicals fork out 185 thousand dollars to stop Alaska ‘troopergate’ investigation

What the state prosecutor said. Wow. Troopergate was an ‘investigation into whether Alaska Governor Sarah Palin acted improperly in firing the state public safety director.’

Timeline

Speaking of Ms. Palin and her family, other than a great aunt who doesn’t live in Alaska telling People Magazine Bristol (Governor Palin’s daughter) had a baby boy named Tripp, there have been no sightings, no independent verification, no anything other than a terse impersonal statement from the press person in the Governor’s office. That was after the information at People was changed and five days after the baby was supposedly born. All news reports since have used the People Magazine statement as their source, originally posted December 29th, 2008.  Governor Palin is busy endorsing Rick Perry for re-election as Texas governor in 2010.
