Two hours later

When I swung the camera to the west this morning I captured these storm clouds.

Which brought this. No surprise, June snow isn’t uncommon.

We have an international student staying with us, it was his first snowfall, while I was snapping these, he was outside with his video camera, rather in awe. He was shivering as he said, “It’s very beautiful.” Indeed.

“June snow isn’t uncommon.” For Ontario, that’s true, especially north of Toronto.

I use to work in northern Michigan not far from Sault Ste. Marie. The joke there was that they had four seasons; June, July, August and Winter. May snow wasn’t that uncommon, but it usually melted off by mid-morning.

Meanwhile, I got to go to church in shorts here in Lexington.

ar arr arrr! It was a shorts day yesterday and will be tomorrow.

Melted pretty fast but it was definitely jacket weather today.
