Garth Turner is the Liberal nominee for Dufferin-Caledon.
His daily blog when he was MP for Halton was not boring by any stretch of the imagination.
This one won’t be either no matter how federal decisions play out.
While I’m not interesting in an election this fall, doesn’t matter what I think.
I am glad to see Mr. Turner online again, he kept politics interesting and human, and given the riding he is nominated in, if there is an election, he’ll be as good a read as he was when blogged before.
The Hill Times:
As for his own chances to win in the riding of Dufferin-Caledon, he played down the expectations.
“In this riding the Liberal candidate did not do well, the riding association did not spend very much money and the results were terrible so I have no idea. You don’t just do something in life because you think you can win. That’s never been my philosophy. I’ve never taken the easy route and this is where I live now. This is my community. I have a lot of roots here. I know a lot of people here. I represented this area for a number of years, I’m sure some people like me, I’m sure some people don’t like me so it’s like politics. I don’t know, it will not be an easy thing.”
