My Canada Siege Team meets with Parliamentarians

According to Seige Canada, a neo-charismatic offshoot of My Canada run by Faytene Kryskow held it’s appreciation night for MP’s and Senators November 16th. The National House of Prayer (Ottawa)

Faytene Kryskow and her team did a wonderful job of sharing their hearts and creating an event of impact. The highlight of the night was their special “Hero” award to M.P. Joy Smith who championed Bill 268 against human trafficking. Many other Parliamentarians dropped by to have some great food (thanks to Ruth Sowerby and her team) and to meet young adults from all across the nation.

Keep praying for the My Canada team as they meet 67 M.P.s and Senators over 5 days this week, that they will leave a sweet fragrance of the Lord in the lives of everyone they meet, and that the impression of young Canadians who have strong convictions about righteousness would remain for a long time in their hearts and minds.

The neo-charismatic youth meet with key Cabinet ministers.

My Canada is looking for donors to cover the costs for the 20 member team event at Parliament Hill.

Costs for the Josiah Team (Please let us know if you would like to designate to one of these areas by e-mailing us at admin@4mycanada.ca after you sow. Thank you and God bless you.):

â—¦ Parliamentary Reception: $2000.00
â—¦ Gifts for MPs (given at each meeting): $1200.00 est.
â—¦ Team Member Costs: $525 each

The next Siege event will feature Dr. Pat Francis, Joy Smith MP, Rod Bruinooge MP, Faytene Kryskow, the Honourable Stockwell Day (pending international comitments), Heather Clark, Laura Woodley Osman, Afshin Javid, Derek Schneider, and others.

The conference will conclude with a special ‘Banquet of Honour’ to celebrate the last 4 years of work on Parliament Hill with MY Canada and work cross the nation with TheCRY. Keynote address planned to be brought by the Hon. Stockwell Day (Minister of Foreign Trade).

  1. Torontonian says:

I looked through the Siege material and the additional
    4MY Canada and Kryskow material.

I cannot believe how riddled these materials are with
errors and outright inaccuracies. Whether it’s carelessness
or inattention to detail, it is disheartening to think that
a dedicated group could falll down so seriously in the
    material that it provides readers/viewers.

I was totally floored by the fact that the MPs are given
“gifts” and even more surprised that they would even
    accept such “gifts”.

Also, why is the group using a major ballroom on the
Hill for its event? Shouldn’t economies be the focus
and can’t such an event be held in more modest
    surroundings?

The fixation on finances tells much about the operation
and the message, in places seems secondary .

One page of press releases has had no new additions since
2007 and here it is nearly 3 years on and there’s nothing
to add? But, of course, it could be that the press has
seen nothing new or special to report.

How long can these people think they matter when they
can’t even be accurate with information while squandering
money in a lavish way that may be beyond their means?

If they tried a little more diligently, they’d be more
successful. Of course, organisations are only as good
as their leadership. The same can be said–sadly–
about our country at this very moment.

  2. Rick Hiebert says:

    $2000? Wow!

I would wonder if the Parliamentary Press Gallery would notice the “gifts” to MPs, and then put two and two together to make 4. Isn’t this lobbying?

  3. hopeome says:

Credibility doesn’ t exist in government, too many hands in too many pockets and too many deals within the wheels. Jesus knew he needed the government to be on his shoulders so he could carry them out of the quagmire of lies and deceptions they had got themselves into.

    One thing though

when I wrote to Downing Street at least I got an answer, it was on official downing street notepaper too!

More than can be said when I contacted The ministrys. One preacher was babysitting, most had the answering machine on (no response from any of those) and the rest ‘where not available’ for comment. I said to the lord ‘what happens if I need help, redemption or healing,

He said to me (Revelations:) NOW YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL.

    So we healed each other.

What did I learn: The church needs the money, the power and the glory, Jesus and me both needed a love so deep that through him they would know me and through me they would know him.

Ministry has no idea what that word ministry really means, they are to busy talking about it to receive its deep abiding love and hopes.

When ‘we step out’ we get in step’ when man steps out he tends to forget THAT JESUS IS LORD OF ALL.

When ever I have asked for hope it has never ‘just been given en

That last sentence should not have been ! sorry

Just got a new lap top ! & having key trouble

  5. SK says:

These “gifts” are not just for the sake of a gift.
They are protocol gifts, to honor the leaders.

You guys seem to stalk, judge and write down every move that Faytene and her ministry does – its very creepy.

  6. Bene D says:

You’re correct SK – doesn’t matter why the gifts were given, I’ll be writing Parliament and doing a follow up.

And you are correct I am monitoring Faytene. She affiliates with NAR leaders, pushes revisionist history, neo-charismatic heresy and is a symptom of the larger illness in the church.

Ms. Kryskow has right to respond and is a public figure associating with the fringe, which takes out the creepy. No one I’m aware of who has written about her have ever been nasty, creepy or passive aggressive.

This is modified from Religious Dispatches: Resisting the “New Normal”

Martin Buber taught us that we won’t transform the world until we can fully imagine what a righteously transformed or transforming world would look like. So let us try a little thought experiment and imagine that religious leaders were to begin to:

Follow the money: Do the obvious and figure out how the flow of major money shapes our politics and public policy. Talk about this, preach and teach about it, bring it to the surface.
Move away from any kind of partisanship: Instead of “Red” and “Blue,” try to focus on “Haves” and “Have Nots”: Why indeed should religious leaders be shilling for Democrats who are as beholden to the money power as the Republicans are? This is moral insanity.

Pour shame on the rentier class: This is harder, but our class criminals like to be able to hide out. Religious leaders who hunger for justice should steel themselves to track them down, confront them, and let them answer for themselves. This is not about attacking wealth per se but about challenging irresponsible wealth that has no trace of neighborliness in it. Religious leaders could take some tips from the progressive side of the labor movement on how to do this effectively.

Make a clean break with neoliberalism (and neo- conservativism and focus consistently on building up the real economy, including community reinvestment and investment in good-paying domestic jobs:

Legitimize the doubts and demands among the sheep, being led to slaughter today: This is in many ways the main task. If the current silence of religious leaders concerning savage social and economic inequalities is taken to mean consent or complacency, then how can anyone expect the hoi polloi to engage in any spontaneous protest? Conversely, if religious leaders start to speak out strongly against oppression, it will surely give others permission to find their voices.

Create a new set of Values Voters instead of trolling for Values Voters whose “values” merely reflect fear, insecurity, and xenophobia: Here is where things could get interesting. The Right, including the Religious Right, has brilliantly persuaded millions of hard-pressed (American) workers to substitute warfare against “culture elites” for rebellion against their actual class oppressors. But we once had religious leaders who openly stoked class warfare as legitimately democratic and godly to boot. These leaders weren’t communists or socialists; they were simply following the example of Jesus and the Hebrew prophets.

  7. Torontonian says:

    For SK:
    ——–

It should be understood that anyone who is in the public
forum has to realise that public scrutiny comes with the
    territory.

Faytene Kryskow is being examined only because of
her statements and actions. Similar examination
and appraisal are happening to Todd Bentley and the
100 Huntley Street and Crossroads operations.

Nobody is “stalking” her much like a demented person
who stalks celebrities; one is merely putting her
works and statements into the cold light of analysis.

That is one of the purposes of this forum.

I don’t speak with any authority from the forum or
from Bene Diction. I speak my mind and share my
    observations–for what they’re worth.

As Oscar Wilde once said: “The thing worse than
being talked about, is not being talked about.”

You may have some statements to contribute
to the forum to shed a different light on Faytene
Kryskow and her group. I’m sure all the readers
    would welcome that.

Rather than stating that the forum is stalking her,
why not offer material that would enrich all of us?

  8. John Payzant says:

    To SK

The ones with the nasty dirty pool that really ask for it and push their luck is Faytene and her ministry.

It is not just her it couldn’t be.

They talk down by talking fast and controll to get their own ways.

Believe me I know this first hand

I like to go to a lot of things but I found out the hard way what these people are about and couldn’t believe it.

1st Worship Invasion under Ed Rubuliak as Moderator
2nd Fresh Fire under Todd Bentley
3rd Extreme Prophetic Vancouver under Faytene Kryskow

I was not treated nicely and for no reason.

This gives them over to being suspected

I am suspicious of them and it looks like others are too as can be read on this blog

  9. Bene D says:

    SK:

I almost forgot. This blog was publicly criticised by Ms. Kryskow in a Christian publication and I’m perfectly okay with that.
The publisher of the site wasn’t okay with what she said and the article was edited. It was what she felt and I don’t think her criticism was creepy or stalking.

Faytene is welcome to address concerns here anytime – she has.
    As are you.

Stalking is a serious crime and I regret you chose to desensitize it by mixing it up with acceptable scrutiny of public action by a public figure.

We are well served to learn the differences between criticism of faith (philosophy), critcism of dogma (theology), criticism of institutions (sociology) criticisms of policies (politics) and criticism of behavior.

  10. Marina says:

    How’s this for creepy SK:

“We must take back the power centers because those without power cannot protect freedom.” (Alistair Petrie, Miracle Channel Dominion Conference East, August 2006.)

    http://www.miraclechannel.ca/page_selector.php?page=o_dc06ej_aug7

Also, have a look at all the pictures from the conference and you’ll see that Faytene is a prominent member of this scary “elitist” group that claims to speak on behalf of God, Heaven and all Christians. http://www.miraclechannel.ca/page_selector.php?page=o_dc06ej

When will we learn that when religious groups succeed in gaining control of any level of government, oppression and regression are not far behind? We humans are capable of the most unthinkable atrocities when given the divinely mandated go ahead.

To anyone who thinks that reporting, exposing and/or examining what our religious leaders speak publicly, realize that what you
call “stalking”, is truly a much needed, much lacking exercise in discernment and call to accountability.

Thanks Bene and Rick for labouring to put this information out there and to all who care enough to let their voice be heard.

    GO RIDERS!

  11. John Payzant says:

    To Bene & SK

It would be interesting to know what Christian Publication Faytene Kryskow critisized this blog on. Unfortunately, I neither knew or read the article. I’m not suprised that Faytene would ‘critisize’ seems to me is something she can give but -does not take-. She plays lots of head games. Her connections with NAR groups but at the same time alliancing with Evangelical Christian groups that would oppose the NAR groups. Sounds like she put down this blog for bringing her NAR out into the open. But to be NAR and hide behind the veil of Evangelical Christianity is scandalous in that a situation is turned into or made out to be something that it is not.

  12. Bene D says:

    Hi John:

    It was Canadian Christianity.

  13. John Payzant says:

    Bene

I just checked out Canadian Christianity typing Search “Faytene Kryskow” and a number of things popped up with no trace of the edited article critisizing this blog.

That sounded like an aggressive attitude of Faytene towards this blog like she wanted this blog to be edited but she ended up being edited.

    Public Forum = Public Scrutiny

Faytene does -what she wants- = The public scutinizing

For her to try to stop the scrutiny would be like someone saying to her, ‘You can’t do what you want!” then how would she like that?

  14. Bene D says:

It’s okay John, as I strive to point out the difference between judging a person and discerning doctrine, I have to keep in mind I don’t make the mistake myself.

There is a blog you might enjoy written by someone who left IHOP (International House of Prayer)

    http://gospelmasquerade.wordpress.com/

  15. John Payzant says:

    To Bene D

Thank you for the above web address

I enjoyed reading the themes are below:

    1. Contentment in our Heavenly Father

    2. Hearts & Minds grounded in truth

    3. Rest and Contentment in Shalom

Focusing on the above shapes our discerment shapes our doctrine

  16. Bene D says:

John: Ms. Kryskow has publicly said she doesn’t hang out with anyone from NAR.

Here is the list of Peter Wagners apostles.

    http://www.apostlesnet.net/AugustShortDirectory.pdf

Have a look, you know the players better than I do.

Does she hang out with anyone on the ICA list?

  17. John Payzant says:

    Bene

She says she doesn’t hang out with anybody from NAR?

Wesley Campbell was at the bottom of the ICA list under Canada

At the Cry at Lumbermens’ Arch in Stanley Park Stacy Campbell was there and I think I saw Wesley right behind Stacy live and on U-Tube

I have a problem believing that because of when Faytene said to me on a public sidewalk in front of a building owned by Killarney Community Center on Pender & Templeton in East Vancouver,

‘You’re on private property, we own the building’

On a public sidewalk in front of a building owned by Killarney Community Center

And then later on she sais,

‘I don’t remember any of this and have no time for -petty skirmishes’

After how badly treated I was she calls that a ‘petty skirmish’

  18. Tim says:

Hey Bene, here’s a few names for you from the ICA list:

    James W. Goll
    Dutch Sheets
    Susan Ryan
    Ed Silvoso
Peter Wagner (not necessarily Peter but a lot of his heretics)
    Stacey Campbell
    Wesley Campbell
    Femi Ogunrinde
    Alistair P. Petrie
    Mel C. Mullen
    Dennis Wiedrick

Not all the names noted are necessarily people she would “hang” with but she has worked/ministered with or beside them at some point in her life. Most of her connections to these people stem from the relationships built through The Miracle Channel programming and conferences, the NHOP, Pat King, or by the individuals participation or presence in events like The Cry or Siege, etc.. Understand that some relationships are closer than others, for example, James Goll is an endorser of her book “Marked”, which is noted on Faytene’s website.

There are a lot of Wagner “accredited” or “approved” teachers/heretics that aren’t on the ICA list that she likes to rub shoulders with as well.

I may be wrong on a name or two but all you have to do is Google her name along with any of the above names and you’ll probably find the commonalities.

  19. John Payzant says:

    Bene

Besides Canada under International Members was Westwood Community Church one of the hosting Churches that Worship Invasion under Moderator Ed Rubuliak has one of their Venue events at

Faytene did have a joint Venue with Worship Invasion prior to The Cry at Lumbermens’ Arch in Stanley Park at a church listed below.

The church was Abbotsford Community Church or something like that. One of the persons running the place was also a Rubuliak and one or two others did have the title ‘Apostle’ beside their names.

So, Ed Rubuliak from Worship Invasion seems to be somewhat close with NAR too but doesn’t like it when anybody notices him too closely.

Both Ed Rubuliak and Faytene Kryskow seem quite close with NAR and they don’t seem to like it when anybody notices them too closely.

They seem to dislike any scrutiny whatsoever but from how I was treated by them, they go overboard scrutinizing me.

  20. Bene Diction says:

Even if Ms. Kryskow actually didn’t hang out with any Canadian on the ICA list, she has openly associated with many others.

The connections are not difficult to make.
The difficulty is Ms. Kryskow choses not to.

John, you have made a connect with Cambell/Krsykow, if you’d care to take Tim’s list and show more connections, that would be awesome. I’ll take screenshots, these things have a habit of disappearing.
If nothing else, providing these facts will prevent 4MyCanada, TheCry, The Seige and Ms. Kryskow lying to media in the future without blowback.

In reviewing Stand on Guard, the following people are identified:

Alister Petrie. On the ICA list.
Wesley Campbell. On the ICA list.

The comments denying connections to dominionists and NAR were made in August 2009 to Canadian Christianity reporter Lloyd Mackey.

Following her interview with CC.com, Kryskow e-mailed confirmation of her verbal quotes, in an effort to ensure that she was not being misunderstood…

With respect to the dominionist allegations, Kryskow said: “I don’t know what dominionism is and I am not a part of (that) group. (And) though I have personal relationship with many people who have been involved with (for example) the Watchmen for the Nations reconcilation/prayer initiatives in the past, there is no official alliance.

“They are totally separate organizations. The only connection is that we know one another . . . much like you and I know one another and attend some of the same meetings.”

  21. John Payzant says:

    Bene

    These names from Tim’s list:

    -James Goll

    -Alistair Petrie

    -Peter Wagner

These names sound familiar from when I’ve read through things to do with Faytene Kryskow and The Cry or any Venue Events where she’s speaking.

The Salvation Army War College Vancouver has Wes & Stacy Campbell as well as Faytene Kryskow

They don’t like people like us who look at them closely is why I was treated like this and you weren’t suprised.

These people seem to think they’re infallible and can get away with mistreating others with no consequences.

This seems to result in myself and others become more curious as to what it is about these groups that makes them tick?

  22. Bene D says:

    Hi John:

No doubt they are familar to you.:^)

    Alistar Petrie. ICA. Canada
Forward to Kryskow book: Standing on Guard

    Wes Campbell. ICA. Canada
    Standing on Guard. Kryskow

There are more, I’m wondering if screenshots need to be grabbed, but many of the ICA people and the people Tim mention are in the Wayback machine.

There are videos we haven’t gone through, I appreciate Marina’s research and your assistance.

  23. Therese says:

James Goll is listed as a referring minister on Faytene’s website, just as a reminder. I was flabbergasted to see the name of Russ Moyer on the list – he is intimately associated with the last church I attended, and he also has hosted Joshua Mills (gold dust) many times – that explains a few things, one of which is why he changed his ‘title’ from Prophet to Apostle. I noticed some on the list are Honorary Lifetime Members – I guess that means some apostles are more equal than others and are immune from redress if they go astray? Wow, I really wonder what qualifies one to be an apostle in their minds.

  24. Bene D says:

4MyCanada is not a registered charity, however, TheCry is.

The board of directors listed on TheCry 2008 tax return are:

Stacey Campbell, Randy Baker, Rob Parker and Faytene Kryskow.

Stacey Campbell’s husband Wes as noted above is an International Apostle on Wagner’s elite list.
Rob Parker is with NHOP (National House of Prayer)

    4MyCanada organizes TheCry, TheSiege etc.

TheCry alone has over 100 thousand in assets according to their tax return.
One of the groups benefiting from a donation from TheCry was Heaven’s Rehearsal in 2008 run by Reynold Mainse, former host of 100 Huntley, still listed as VP of Crossroads Missions.

4MyCanada’s TheCry brought up American Lou Engle for this years event, he’s supposed to do a video for the next 4MyCanada event.
If people haven’t figured out he is a D list religious right neo-charismatic dominionist heretic, then they and their money being parted isn’t worth crying over.

The next event 4MyCanada is holding is their national SiegeToronto workshop/banquet December 10-12th.

    http://www.siegecanada.ca/SiegeToronto/Speakers.html

David Mainse is reportedly part of this event, Heather Clark, MP Stockwell Day – it’s being held at Charles McVety’s Canada Christian College.

    But wait, there’s more!

MP Rod Broonruidge, head of the secretative pro-life parliamentary caucus, MP Joy Smith, Patricia King, Extreme Prophetic and Stacey Campbell etc.
The advertising uses the terms of Wagner’s 7 mountain mandate.

I’ve no doubt a trip into the Internet Wayback Machine would cough up other associations with ICP’s and neo-charismatic dominionists not yet mentioned.

  25. John Payzant says:

    Bene

Although Faytene Kryskow & Patricia King are mentioned the Worship Invasion under moderator Ed Rubuliak seems to be quite closely connected with these groups and seems to enjoy hiding behind the Evangelical Christian Facade seems to very defensively hide his connections to NAR

At the Cry Lumbermens’ Arch Worship Invasion was there and so was one of their Hosting Churches ‘Cedar Grove Baptist Church’ is where they have their ‘New Years Eve Venue’

These terms of ‘Prophet’ & ‘Apostle’ seem to catch my eye when looking over their web sights

These people seem to have a lot of dangerous games to play

If they think you’re checking them out, they’ll make something up of you and theaten to ‘Phone the Police’. Why do they need the Police if they have all of the Prophetic & Apostolic powers and authority?

  26. SongBird< says:

    Ok…so this is funny!

I posted last night on another topic about 100 Huntley Street!! Now I find myself here again…

As you know, I am a singer. I sang at a meeting in 2007 which Faytene was the speaker. I was excited because although I had never heard of her before I had read that she was a powerful woman of God. Well….as she was speaking all I could think was “what in the world is she talking about?”

I have been a Christian since I was a child, am a Bible College graduate and have a clear understanding of the gospel and how simple the message truly is. I don’t know what Faytene was talking about…”breaker anointing”???

In conclusion, I was confused…and we know who the author of confusion is.

She seemed to really love Jesus though?? Too bad she adds so much fluff and skips over the important things!

    Blessings!XO

  27. Bene Diction says:

    Hi again Songbird:

    Which Jesus?
You may want to do some research on Ms. Kryskow and her associates.

You may want to learn about NAR, dominionism, latter rain etc. It may help you understand why you were manipulated and confused.

  28. Therese says:

No one with the virginal ears of the bride of Christ, having ears only for HIS word, will understand the self-made language of the self-made false religion that false teachers spew out as they love and serve their self-made false christs. (In other words they are really loving and serving self.) These presumptuous false teachers are biblical illiterates who need themselves to learn Preaching 101 which says, “Do not go beyond what is written.” They are the blind guides Jesus spoke of who are trying so hard to lead others to fall into the same pit they are bee-lining for which they themselves can’t see – and which makes them look so ridiculous to those who can.

  29. SongBird< says:

Ummm…I didn’t say that I felt manipulated. I am stronger than that. However, I can see how her message could easily manipulate those who are more easily swayed. Although, if you have ever really heard her speak to an audience, I’m not really sure how many people would really understand the message she is trying to convey.

Bene Diction, I would tend to agree mostly with you on this one…just be careful. She may truly have a heart for the lost and serve the same Jesus as we do…she is just “so Heavenly minded that she may be no earthly good”.

I’m not someone who likes to debate…but I am really enjoying your blog!

    Have a good day!
    XO<

  30. Bene Diction says:

    Hi Songbird:

Agreed, only God knows who she serves. We judge by fruit.

This may help. It’s important to distinguish between criticism of faith (philosophy), critcism of dogma (theology), criticism of institutions (sociology) and criticisms of policies (politics).

    No debate. Promise.

Having said that, many people including Christian media organizations have looked at her body of work, her affiliations with NAR and neo-charismatic heresy, her political involvement and if you are interested in further research, teh google is our friend.:^)

    As you can see

  31. Therese says:

Someone who is deceived and leading others into the same deception will not be aware they are giving their love and devotion to serving a false christ (ie, one of man’s own making), but isn’t it fair to say that others who are not similarly deceived can certainly see it.

  32. Tim says:

In light of the keynote speaker for “Siege Toronto”, it appears Faytene is making inroads with the more conservative evangelicals.

    From facebook:
“SAT. 6:30pm – Special banquet to honour God for all He has done in the last with MY Canada’s work and various other initiatives. KEYNOTE SPEAKER: David Mainse ** Notice – The banquet was changed from Wed. Dec. 9th. to Sat. Dec. 12th.”

    http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=153026231827&index=1

  33. Therese says:

I see Pat Francis will also be speaking at the “Seige Toronto” event. She is listed on Peter Wagner’s list of “Apostles”, and also has a regular TV program (funny thing about Apostles, so many of them seem to like the TV spotlight). Maybe David Mainse is gunning for Apostleship too? I wonder how many miracles have to be ascribed to someone before they are allowed to go on the Apostle’s list, and will they be qualified for automatic elevation to sainthood when they die?

  34. John Payzant says:

    SongBird

Thank you for your transparency and candor in showing your true colours in writing about what you’ve experienced.

Are too many mainline churches too stuffy and old fashioned that people can’t wait to get out and find something more fresh and alive?

It is always good to look for free lectures at a good Bible College or University of some sort.

But Faytene Kryskow has her own style of speaking

She has a kind of creative artistic flare to herself

She is the way she is

But her group seems to have a kind of scary undercurrent about it too.

You’re lucky you weren’t hurt by them

But after all I’ve read on this blog, if you were hurt by them I would not be too suprised that’d happened
