Evangelist Todd Bentley is taking a break from the “Morningstar revival” in Fort Mill.

Nope, he won’t go to Haiti. Bentley, he tweets that he is back preaching at Morningstar as of today (Monday Jan 25)
Those who might want to watch him on Morningstar TV might hear him say something about why he has alreday done stuff for the poor and doesn’t feel the need to go to Haiti, following this exchange on Twitter on Saturday (Jan 23), in which Bentley responds (top) to a pointed Twitter comment (bottom)

Guess that there is a misprint in the Bible that Bentley uses and Jesus’ comments about the “widow’s mite” are perhaps not printed therein?

Guess that Todd Bentley thinks he may have spoken too soon and perhaps should go to Haiti after all. He tweeted just this evening:

Browbeating on Twitter works, I guess…But it would be a great way to raise money.

Does the word “fraud” come to anyone’s mind?
I am subscribed to his tweets, but I think he blocked me. Regardless, seems like a great question. Even John Edwards is in Haiti helping out.
Can he offer his services to these who are in an unforturnate situation? That’s when the rubber hits the road. Can he go in and smell the death, see the tears, watch the broken hearted, see the mamed, look at the orphaned, see the widow & widower, watch the hungry & thirsty, ect.?
Type in IamToddBentley at Twitter’s search engine and it seems you can see all his tweets without subscribing…
I’d be highly skeptical of anyone who claims miracles but can only do it under controlled circumstances, ie, under their control, and only for large groups of people who give offerings.
Only last week or so during the usual twistng of the bible ‘quotes’ for the congregation to empty their wallets did Mr Bentley say, I asked Rick if I could keep the offerings as I have no money left etc., Then on Twitter he says he is having a great time in the Virgin Islands celebrating his marriage anniversary etc.,
Now forgive me if I am wrong but somehow redemption has not reached his ability to ‘deceive us’, or his ability to lie about his so called annointings, or his never ending stream of twitter both on screen and on stage!.
I am still in horror at the way he treated those who approached the ’stage’ for healing, it was all about him, I am still in horror that the audience seems unable to see through the babble all about him, I am still in horror at the complete lack of humility, honour, truth and blindness of someone so ‘in love with himself that he fails to see that the driving force is himself and of himself and for himself and I am in absolute ‘fury’ that he has the audacity in all of his circumstances to say he is having such a good time in the Virgin slands. He is switched off and switched out of reality just like the rest of Morning Star ’s so called Ministrys. What do the outpourings (so called) say! Hey we are having a good time come and join us and oh by the way we can’t afford the cost of the outpouring so you are going to have to pay for it! and we have a scripture to back us up that you have to or else blessings will cease.
Any more of this rubbish and I will have to have anger management to overcome the overcomers ability to incite such horror and fury in one normally so evenly ‘keeled’.

Haiti is probably better off with out his brand of hope and ‘jolly jolly’
If that jackleg fool went to Haiti… THAT would be the miracle. Because you know, his convictions would actually have merit. Right now, they are solely marketing tactics – and bad ones at that.

Because of his convictions, they probably won’t let him out of the country… At least not until clearing it with his parole officer… LOL

Good post, and good question.
According to his 2008 book, “Kingdom Rising,” Todd Bentley claimed that during a mission trip to the ghettos of South Africa, he told a group of “gangsters” that “I guarantee that if God doesn’t touch you, that I will say that God isn’t real” ( http://www.christianresearchservice.com/ToddBentley13.htm ).
This is the same Todd Bentley who stated, “We can preach the Gospel all day long, but that won’t win souls” (Ibid.).
And Todd Bentley continues to pronounce people “healed” (YouTube video at
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5njqlILARp4 ). The video is further proof that Bentley does not have the gift of healing.
With that in mind, let’s hope that Todd Bentley (and his fellow false healers), does the entire country of Haiti a big favor and stays away. The Haitians have enough problems as it is.
By the way, where were all of the hyper-Charismatic “prophets” BEFORE the earthquakes happened in Haiti?

How much of Todd Bentley is real and how much is deceit? We know from Lakeland there is a past of deceit, that has been made public. Personally, I question his motives. In addition, I question his reference to crediting angels. In the Bud Press video #11, Todd did refer to “when the angels show up”, as if they are the Holy Spirit. This gives credit to angels that I question.
There are scriptures for wrong practices in the Bible. The word of God describes these who practice these activities magicians, socerers, ect. So, are these activities of God or created by Mr. Bentley, who represents Morningstar Minitstry now? Are we seeing pseudoprophetes? Is Todd Bentley a true prophet?
Paul in Acts 13 rebuked a man named Elymas the sorcerer. Paul was inspired by the Holy Ghost to put Elymas in his place. Rebuke the false prophet.
Just food for thought people. The word of God does talk about testings in this life. Seach for the wisdom of God here, then comes knowledge.
Where were all the ‘hyper -charismatic profits’, Bud Press If the latest Sunday morning service at Morrning Star Ministry was anything to go by, they were all patting each other on the back and confirming and congratulating each other.

Annointing is a beautiful, hopeful, word that is being dragged through the mud just as the word Revival is, desperate people looking to ‘hang their hat somewhere’ in the hope of the all consuming power of the Lord and its power to place them even ‘higher” than they already think they are.
Power Evangalism is another thing they and Bob Jones are calling for, they want a greater power to proove to us theirs.
I have news for you, we in Britain would like a revial Lord, we are so fed up with moaning about the weather and the price of bread!
The Anglican church needs lifting out of its placement for the last hundred years and we only have three decent department stores in the town where I live which is just not enough when a woman goes shopping!
It breeds jealousy doesn’t it when they appear to be having such a good time and’we plebs are left looking on with only the price of a plane ticket to Charlottsville between us and redemption.

To be at one with the Lord you have to hand over that which separates you from him.
Example: Mr Joyner says he is a Knight of Malta, if so then that separates him from the lord, for we should only be at one with him.
Example: Jessa in her ’spirit manifestation was with ‘anothers spirit’ that not only separates her from the Lord but puts her as being in the enemys camp. Jesus never uses anothers spirit his is powerful enough.
Example: ‘Money as a motivation for his ‘visitation’s’ (Morningstar Ministry’s Agenda) never will he honour. He doesn’t need to, what he gifts in those circumstances is a spirit of silence as he witness’s to those deep places of the spirit that the/an enemy sits in.
Example: Business will he never, in the context of church, acknowledge, that spirit and reason that needs it will he take.
Example: Healings that touch only a ‘part’ of the human sickness’s can he never ‘put his name to’. He wants us all to be well so goes deep into that and those places that created it and then returns to take that place that had its strongholds.
Would the Father of any child gift a sickness and then to some the ability to heal it. NO
Its a crazy world with rich and poor, well and sick, hope and hell, good and bad, love and hate. THATS WHY THIS HELL WE ABIDE IN NEEDS A FAR GREATER HOPE THAN ANY TODD BENTLEY OR ‘HIS MATES’ CAN BRING AND SO DOES HAITI. The Anti and the hope can never live together, but we do don’t we!
When you ‘lose all your anti thats when you get his and the love and power that goes with its passions.
A counterfeit is one who mimmicks, assumes the position of, renders himself/herself at ‘one with and in the ‘garments of’, a PRETENDER TO THE THRONE.
