After 30 years of marriage Suzanne and Benny Hinn are divorcing. His wife filed in Orange Country California February 1, citing irreconcilable differences. There are also 3 California addresses for the couple listed in the filing.
Hinn runs a multi-million dollar ministry out of Texas. Â His soon to be ex-wife has been an active participant.
Her Holy Ghost enema video is just one example of the bizarre claims and behavior in meetings around the world and on various religious TV networks. Mrs. Hinn was arrested for shoplifting in South Africa in 1999. Charges were dropped because of court backlogs.

He was recently turned away from the UK while flying in on his private jet for a service, and tried to sneak into the country using another airport. He is a master media manipulator and charismatic showman who travels around the world holding rallies.

He married Suzanne in 1979, she is the daughter of a Florida minister, the couple have four children.

In case you didn’t know, Benny Hinn has given COUNTLESS false prophecies over the years; lives like a king in a $10 million dollar palace overlooking the Pacific Ocean; makes outrageous claims of miracles yet when the people were followed up weeks and months later, no healings too place whatsoever (some even died)—the list of inconsistencies could go on forever.

The threats along the lines of ”you better not touch God’s anointed because God will get you” are laughable because Benny is about as ”anointed” as a house fly. The people who utter such statements are displaying their biblical ignorance, illiteracy and overall lack of discernment.
Frankly, nothing surprises me about Hinn anymore. His divorce is peanuts in comparison to all of the above mentioned facts but it does prove once again that he is preaching one thing, yet can’t seem to get it right in his own life, which alone, disqualifies him from calling himself a pastor (not to mention that he also has no formal teaching and preaching credentials either but is instead a highschool drop out).

If you claim to call yourself a Christian, read your book, you will find that god never intended for his children to go through the revolving door of sin, forgiveness, sin, forgiveness, sin, etc. Once you find your Jesus, he is supposed to imbue you with power to overcome the desires of the flesh and be able to walk in pure holiness and righteousness. Hey, your book says it! But modern Christians don’t like this part of the program, so they ignore it or cut it out with their spiritual scissors. They don’t ever see their god as getting fed up with their unwillingness to lay down their wills and take up their crosses, figuring that as long as they keep confessing their sins, they will be forgiven. But the book says that if you confess your sins, he is faithful to cleanse you – the FIRST time! They don’t see their Jesus as strong enough to remove that lust of the flesh inside them and make them perfectly sinless in the here and now. Followers of Christ today really don’ t believe in what the bible has to say about the sinless nature of Jesus’ earliest followers. They like to make excuses on why they don’t have to have sinless, perfect lives.
Christians are hypocrites. They do not obey Jesus’ commandments or the bible’s instructions. Christianity has a 50% divorce rate, divorcing mostly because of irreconcilable differences rather than adultery. (And even if it was for adultery, what does that say about being a Christian?) Christianity is trying to put prayer in schools when JEsus said not to make a public display of praying. Against the commandments of Jesus, they take their disputes before secular courts instead of the saints, call their priests “father”, build up big fat bank accounts when Jesus said not to worry about tomorrow, get involved in politics and government and a host of others I could mention. (It has been mentioned if you care to do a search.) And then they wonder why people poke fun at them. Skeptics aren’t stupid.
Which really casts doubt on the whole veracity of the theology of the Christian religion. Christians by their words and deeds are their own worst apologists. There is no demonstration to the claims. Just hype or mystical subjective experiences that feed the need to “want” to believe there is more to life than what we see in the natural.
Anyone can be nice and good even if you don’t believe in any supernatural god watching your every move. If the religion were true, the world would be truly amazed by the integrity, righteousness and power its adherents demonstrated in Jesus’ name.
As a Christian myself, a lifelong search for truth has led me to conclude that Christian theology has no more validity or truthfulness to its claims than any other pre-exisiting or current religion. No proof exists for the “resurrection” story and no proof demonstrated in the lives of believers, according to what the bible says there should be.
And one more thing, Brano. If I were you, I wouldn’t start on pagans for not having moral absolutes or insinuating that because pagans don’t ascribe to biblical morals, they allow anything to go. Care to check out the “absolute morals” the god of the bible encourages?

hey it is foolishness to talk on behalf of a man, if he is really fraud God would surely deal with him. When Jesus told them to be perfect, he was raising the bar for the legalistic Pharisees who thought they could be saved by their own efforts under the Mosaic Law – by the which not even Moses himself was saved.
The only way anyone can be perfect today, is through the only perfect one who ever lived … Jesus Christ. We are not blessed by God because we manage to live right, but rather we are blessed by God because JESUS lived right, and JESUS died right, and JESUS rose from the dead right.

God has already judged all the sins of mankind, once and for all, through Jesus Christ, and it was this self-same Jesus that warned us to be on guard for deception. So if you are not allowed to judge what people are saying — how can you be on guard for all the deception in the world?

What saddens me most in reading these blogs is not so much the Anti-God sentiment of some (they’re only being natural) but truly heart breaking is reading Christians’ interpretations (or lack thereof) of scripture. It’s been a well known fact for years that christians don’t read scriptures but now that times have become truly deceitful and difficult to understand without the knowledge of God’s WORD, it should come as no surprise to anyone (Christian or not) that christians come accross sounding like uneducated, unimformed, uninlightened, politically correct, sin tolerant, “don’t judge” REPEATEDLY failing ‘spiritual idols’ types… Matthew 5:13 (NIV)

I think you’re on the right track, but wouldn’t it also be a possibility that the information age has led to some surprising changes in Christianity. Between one and two million churchgoers annually in the USA are abandoning the faith to embrace a non-religious position. If you feel this is the “falling away”, I believe you’re entitled to that opinion – however more and more people are getting at the roots of the bible, and moving away from Christian apologists to develop a deeper study of the roots of the faith, and they aren’t finding a very happy picture. They are discovering a bible filled with lies, scientific error, contradiction, historical inaccuracy, outright fantasy, hypocrisy, violence, bad financial advice, and a guide book that doesn’t work. Little wonder there are thousands of variations of the faith. Which one would you suggest to adopt as the model and why?
I believe this is the problem. In other words, Christianity doesn’t work, and it’s influence is diminishing daily as more and more people are moving away from a religion which depends upon guilt and submission to exist and grow. It doesn’t lend itself well to criticism as we shall observe in your response.
It’s not an anti-god sentiment as much as it huge numbers of people who are painfully discovering there isn’t any evidence to support the notion of god, and none to support the Jesus of the gnostic gospels. The deeper you look, the worse the situation becomes, but you have to step outside typical Christian authorship to actually get educated, and folks aren’t inclined to be reasoned out of something there were never reasoned into in the first place.
Most people are interested in hard evidence as to why they should believe god and the bible, and we are witnessing the departure because there simply hasn’t been any.

Hope discolored swiftly when your scripture quotations appeared. My 30+ years in evangelical Christianity permitted me the extravagance of fluency.
It isn’t pleasurable to be confronted by unbelievers who are acquainted with as much of the bible as you (apparently). Numerous atheists and agnostics arrive from backgrounds of conviction.
What is disquieting is the absolute lack of faith in Christianity itself outside of vomiting up reams of quotation marks from your bible to make a point – although one could become bewildered as to what your position essentially might be.
To sidestep answering any questions, or refuting any of the positions taken, is tantamount to wholesale surrender of the argument.
Doesn’t 2 TIM 4:2 demand more from you?
proclaim God’s message, be zealous in season and out of season; convince, rebuke, encourage, with the utmost patience as a teacher.
You can and should do much better!

On the plus side, it wasn’t necessary to suffer through a dreadfully long list of unrelated scriptures this time – and on the minus side, the attempt to deflect the questions I posed with ad homenium comments, physiological evaluations, and thread subject matter were quite subtle.
The entire point of my earlier comment was to suggest other reasons for the seeming difficulties in reading and understanding gods word (as pointed out in your comments). and my comments are less valid – why? Because they are at variance to yours? Rather than defend your position, you resort to strawman arguments and evasion of the questions. It seems that I am clearly aware the subject is about PY.
