Let’s be fair.
This showed up in my inbox March 7th. It’s from Faytene Kryskow’s personal Facebook page, the one you have to be approved by the owner to see. Not to be mistaken with her product page. Ms. Kryskow has 4 thousand+ people friends, able to respond to the above queries.
Ms. Kryskow runs 4MyCanada and TheCry. 4MyCanada  does not have charitable status.
She hangs out with people willing to pay her to go and talk to MP’s and Senators on Parliament Hill.
That is called The Siege and they hold an event or so a year called Siege Canada.
Last I checked Ms. Kryskow doesn’t have lobby status, but that’s a topic for another day. Â She also hangs out with others at the extreme right fringe (politically and theologically) in Canada and the US. Lou Engle, Patricia King, Charles McVety, Dick Deweert come to mind. Some of us cast an eye in their direction once in awhile so you don’t have to.
Have you read the Income Tax Act? I haven’t. Few have. Taunting task that, which is why many people setting up a charity, study, learn, work hard and hire a lawyer who has read it.
Lois asks a fair question. She didn’t get a response, because, well, hey, it’s one of those questions most citizens already have an intutitive understanding of what the answer may be.
Let’s help Ms. Kryskow and Lois out. Let’s help them out because it doesn’t look like  4000+ other Facebook friends are going to.
hey, neat guidelines with rules, laws and regulations.
A registered charity must be created for charitable purposes and must devote its resources (funds, personnel, and property) to charitable activities. A registered charity is permitted to carry out its charitable purposes, both inside and outside Canada, in only two ways: by carrying on its own charitable activities, and by gifting to qualified donees.
A registered charity must maintain direction and control over its activities (whether carried out by the charity, or by an agent or contractor on its behalf) and must not engage in prohibited political activities or unrelated business activities.
Change in Governing Documents hey, more neat guidelines for registered charities which have been approved. hey, and checklists so people don’t run afoul of their granted priviledge.
Not using your charity? (Dissolution clause) hey, Revenue Canada is there to help.
Policy Statement
Under the Income Tax Act, a registered charity can only transfer its remaining assets to a qualified donee upon its dissolution. Therefore, a registered charity’s governing documents should include a clause to the effect that upon winding up or dissolution, all its remaining assets after payment of its debts must be distributed to one or more qualified donees.
However, where aNotice of Intention to Revoke a Charity’s Registration (Form T2051A) has been issued, a registered charity can only transfer assets to an eligible donee during the winding-up period.
Okay. We’re getting an idea of how the federal government wants it’s citizens to serve and be served and we have more than just deduction to go by.
Let’s pretend we ran a charity. We’ll call it TheSob.
We agree upon granting of charitable status we will follow the law.
One of those laws say we can’t do more that 10% of our work in the political field.
Apart from clear rules, there are policy papers, information letters and people you can call and ask.
We don’t need or use TheSob any more.
hey, we have to let Revenue Canada know our work is done.
If we don’t, Revenue Canada will let us know.
If we don’t file a return called a T3010 within a two year period of our fiscal year end, TheSob becomes defunct.
That BNN registration number is gone, raptured back to where ever the Canadian Government puts it to rest.
But staying fair here; what if we at TheSob want to give to another in the way Ms. Kryskow is asking for?
Revenue Canada has that covered.
Associated Status hey, neat guideline, including a form to fill out. I’m not quite sure that is what Ms. Kryskow is looking for. re-designation? hey, another form.
Let’s wrap this up for Lois and Faytene and friends. I’m not a tax lawyer, charity operator, foundation leader, neo-charismatic leader or prophet and I don’t play one online.
Are we allowed to lend TheSob to someone else?
Teh google and Revenue Canada rules, regulations and laws to the rescue.
7. Can a registered charity lend its registration number to another registered or non‑registered charity?
No. Under no circumstances should a registered charity lend its registration number to another organization for receipting purposes. A charity that lends its registration number risks losing its charitable registration. A donor who accepts a falsified official donation receipt will risk having the tax credit disallowed and may be subject to fines.
hey, I have a question, does anyone have an answer?
Who is Ms. Kryskow’s friend/someone in need, who is /needing/wanting’ charitable status?
* update: see comments. Technically Ms. Kryskow personally asked for a charitable status not being used, not in her capacity as founder/director of 4MyCanada. She asks that be corrected.
Update: Ms. Kryskow has updated her Facebook page with a message from a ministry which is not soliciting donations because their application is not complete. See comments.

There is a sinister element about the whole thing John I grant you that and the methods they use are less than noble. They target specific elements of society and pin point its weak spots and then ‘move in for the kill so to speak’. They send out a rally cry that has a direct line to the youth and those looking for LIFE other than the one they are living!. Their conferences mean a bigger audience and more chance to whip up a ‘perfect storm’ in and of rebellion. The WILL of this group of people has its strength in our weakness’s. Mr Joyner speaks of more melt down but refuses to address his own!, these groups that seek the ‘power to change the world’ never actually seek to change theirs to any great degree of depth, its surface veneer only! It is scarey because of the invisible threat that seems to go with it and the veils of hiddeness that surround. I get thoroughly disappointed when I go to a church and all I hear is a ‘war cry’ or take over bid when in fact Jesus is all about being free. A ‘religious army’ we can well do without LOVE IS SOMETHING THAT WE CAN’T DO WITHOUT and the element these people lack is love otherwise we would feel safe and we don’t.
One drop of water in a dry land gives some people hope. I suggest we keep seeking the source of that drop not the people who seem to think they ‘dish it out’.
Love ministers life and death it seems in the case of the above walks along side so called life!
I think I’ll start a revolution ‘the Lord said to me’ he did and from that moment on I have never been the same
‘ thank the Lord’.

‘read the ink John’ thanks.
Seems like history is trying to repeat itself somewhat and that there are those that are trying to accommodate its ‘revival’ (the Bentleys, Joyners, etc..,) and that Oral Roberts ‘spirit has not been laid to rest’ but agitates the ones who ‘yet accommodate his ‘teachings’!.
There seem to be those who are trying to bring the Latter day revials into the present day need which is all well and good ‘ untill you have to go home at the end of it all’. I prefer my ‘revival to be continuous and on-going and an adventure every day.

Supply Demand
There is an empty market/clientelle that needs to be filled with a product they demand
Or
They want something
And
Something else marketed at them appeals at the time
How long do people usually last in these groups?
Now, with the information age it could be shorter
Look at the Ex-Jehovah’s Winesses with James Penton’s book ‘Apocalypse Delayed’ has a websight called ‘The Beacon’
I’ve also seen a couple of documentaries about The Masons too.
Also coverage as to the History of the different groups of Mormons like the ones in Bountifull BC is interesting too.
To see into a situation by and through studying their histories gains the reader insight and understanding.
When any group seems to be overly closed up and closed off I would wonder?
But approaching theses situations with understanding, breeds less phobia and more kindness
A Roman Catholic Priest at Westminister Abbey in Mission, B.C. said to a group of us up there,
“What you don’t understand, you fear, what you fear, you hate, what you hate, you destroy”
They do seem to supply a ‘gap in the market’ and your right about understanding who and what the roots are of some of these ‘groups’. There have been times when the Lord has ‘taken me to a place’ and shown me exactly what’s going on there and whats being done in his name.
Someone suggested I go to our local Cathedral as they were holding discussion groups on various aspects of the religious life. Everyone got a say, it was all very civilised and nobody minded that I wasn’t a catholic. I learn’t a lot from the short time I spent with them, not only about the subject matter but the people who were there and how they see things and relate to things. The welcome they extended was incredibly gracious and warm hearted and one that I cherish.
Catholic priests seem to know every hymn off by heart! It never ceases to amaze me!
When he showed me the charismatic church, that was a completely different ‘kettle of fish’!.

Goin to that meeting was smart
Westminister Abbey Mission Roman Catholic Priest said, “Vatican 2 now believes that any religion that exists today is because it has parts of the truth and that includes witchcraft”
Thomas Merton Reading Room Grand Opening at the Vancouver School of Theology at University of British Columbia, Vancouver, British Columbia, “Thomas Merton emphasized on contemplation and reflection leans towards Vatican 2 and pre-Vatican 2 emphasized more on penance and suffering”
Holy Rosary Cathedral, Dunsmuir Seymour, Vancouver Diocese, Vancouver, British Columbia, 12 noon Mass, Fr Dion, Head Rector.
“Uniting our sufferings with Christ’s sufferings” sounds more like a leaning towards pre-Vatican 2 with penance and suffering.
That recent movie ‘The Passion’ about the life of Christ the author mentioned, ‘Salvation is through the Roman Catholic Church’ also sounds like a leaning towards pre-Vatican 2 as well
There are earlier writings about Gnosticism traces of it still exist today and about blasphemy as well
The NAR seems to be on overkill with fight n flight are sadly signs of fear.
Investigating in person is best to be inconspicous, discreet with a professional distance. Stay in an area, like at the back of the room so you can see them and they can’t see you because they can get nasty. Blowing their cover would blow their cashflow from the offering pots. Plus they’re so mixed up as to what is and is not a vision can be difficult. I know that from 04 Worship Invasion Venue Peace Portal Alliance, Surrey, where they’re going to be this month.
They slandered me saying,”Do you know you’re never allowed to got to a Fresh Fire Conference again because (You prayed over a woman and took the ring off of her finger?) all hell broke loose and I did no such thing. They pass the message to Faytene Kryskow and she was not nice either.
They’re close covering for each other and mixed up or make things up out of fear.
On Worship Invasion’s Face Book I’d commented some nice things and they’d replied to me, “You are not wellcome at Worship Invasion and if you do we’ll phone the Police”
See what they’re like look out and be carefull whe investigating them in person
John thank you I really appreciate what you have said. The penance and suffering ‘part’ of the catholic faith is rather heavy and daunting and I find the sentence ‘I am not worthy to receive you (but only say the word and I shall be healed) one that needs changing, as most of us already feel not worthy and need a ‘leg up out of it’. I also like the way they have a short bread and wine service every night for half an hour or so where it can be very refreshing to just sit and feel blessed for a while. I once walked into a lunch time service where the women were saying the rosary, the lord was with them that day it was quite beautiful. I do try and be discreet, its something the Father seems to like and actually generally do sit at the back of the room. I also know what you mean in terms of being rejected by ‘the kind of people’ who like complete control of their environment. I had been visiting a ‘charismatic’ church in the town and they had fresh fire revival on a sunday evening. They were a clique’ bunch, special friends on the front row, with a definite favoured few, only, who were allowed to say, a word, or gift a prophetic utterance. The one and only time I ever said anything was one sunday night in a fresh fire revival service. It was relative to what was being said that night and I thought humbly gifted. I got shot down ‘out of nowhere’ and was so utterley shocked I never went back for more than two years. Then someone said they were having an Evangalist visit from America and I should go. I went and that night the Father stepped in and made right that moment of the pastors humiliation of me so profoundly that I could worship him my whole life just because of that one moment. It was the most beautiful, beautiful justice I have ever witnessed and left no one in that room in any doubt as to who my and their Father was. Reverence in the charismatic is sadly lacking.
Yes they do cover for each other, your right but there is one greater than them who covers for us.
And thanks for the warning I shall heed it.

Re: ‘Fresh Fire Revival Service’
That reminds me of ‘Fresh Fire: Todd Bentley’
Is the Fresh Fire Revival you attended part of Todd Bentley’s Fresh Fire?
I’m curious as to know what Church this was held in and in what City and province so I can get a better picture in my mind where this all took place?
There was, before the Lakeland Outpouring, a Fresh Fire with Todd Bentley at Glad Tidings’s Church on Fraser E18th, East Vancouver, BC, I did not attend due to the incident in 04 with Worship Invasion at Peace Portal Alliance and did not want to find out if they’d recognize me or not would be too much.
After the Fresh Fire Venue atGlad Tidings, on the way to the Central Branch Vancouver Public Library, walked past the BCIT(British Columbia Institute of Technology) Downtown Vancouver Branch 555 Seymour.
Ed Rubuliak, the Moderator of Worship Invasion, was teaching Computer Science there, I don’t think he usually does teach at that campus.
There he was and I said, “Are you Ed Rubuliak” he quicky talking said, “Yes, are you one of my students?” He didn’t recognize me.
A person at my Church, whom I’ve talked to before about all this, said, “The quick talking could be a signs of someone who lies”.
Talking fast is also called ‘talking down’ is a form of parental controll.
This same person had Faytene Kryskow come to her door and mentioned about how she was going on about things to do with prophecy, etc.
Faytene Kryskow also talks fast
My friend was not too imressed with her.
Here are some passages about the gifts and fruits of the spirit as well as Paul’s concern for the Church at Colosse, Greece about the teaching of Gnosticism, the basis of much heretical teaching today.
Scofield Reference Bible KJV Co1967:
Sixth Dispensation: The Church. Pentecost: the Spirit sent from heaven
Acts 2: 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
Acts 15:12 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.
1 Cor 12: 1 Now concerning 1.spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
1.(12:1)The Greek word is plural (pneumatika) and refers to things pertaining to the Holy Spirit.
1 Cor 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. (KJV)
The Epistle to the Colossians
Author:Paul
Theme:Christ’s Pre-eminence
Date of writing: c A.D. 60
Someone had come to Colosse who taught an alluring but dangerous philosophy ultimately known as Gnosticism, the basis of much heretical teaching today. see 2:18, note.
2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, 1.intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
1.(2:18)
The error against which Paul warned the Colossians later developed into the heresy called Gnosticism (from Gk. gnosis, meaning knowledge).
This false teaching assigned to Christ a place subordinate to the true Godhead, and undervalued the uniqueness and completeness of his redemptive work.
It insisted that between a holy God and this earth a host of beings, angels, etc., formed a bridge, of which host Christ was a member.
This system included a worship of angels(v.18) and a false asceticism(vv.20-22).
20 Wherefore, if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances
21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
22 Which all are to perish with the using) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
For all these errors, the apostle had one remedy, a knowledge (epignosis, i.e. full knowledge, 1:9-10; 3:10) of the fullness of God in Jesus Christ.
1:9,10 is about Paul ceasing not to pray to be filled with knowledge, wisdom, spiritual understanding walking worthy in the Lord, fruitful in good works, increasing in the knowledge of God;
Paul is not afraid of wisdom, or knowledge, and refers to them frequently, but does insist that the knowledge be according to divine revelation.
3:10 And have put on the new man, that is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him;
This may be the friend Ms. Kryskow was looking for charitable status for:
From Facebook:
Mercy Mandate is not yet a registered charity. We are not soliciting or accepting donations as an organization at this time. We have an application in process, and will update the website as soon as the application is complete.
Fast talkers like to muddy the waters. I have a neighbour who does that, your head is left reeling from the quick speech and the fact that mostly she talks at you and not with you! I came home on the bus with her one day , a 20 min journey. all I wanted to do at the end of it was ‘be cleaned from the buzz of it all. Maybe thats their point baffle, beleaguer, bombard ‘and leave for dead’!. Todd Bentley is certainly ‘never short of a word!’.
It is, I think, a link this fresh fire message that is ‘doing its rounds in the church right now and yes Todd Bentley instigated. I live in a small town in the South East of Great Britain John and its a local charismatic (they think!) church that has taken on board the ‘Tommy Tenney message of at least ten years ago of ‘We are so hungry for you Lord’ and the ‘mantel’ message double portions of and over the last couple of years the ‘fresh fire message;.. They have a fresh fire ‘revival’ service on a Sunday evening where they seek ‘newness’ , having been their this last Sunday evening ‘it obviously hasn’t ‘arrived yet’. They also have had people from Bill Johnsons church at Bethel. Its kind of scary the way they seem to be linking in with and for each other and makes me wonder …………………………… ‘whos pulling the strings!
The knowledge most seek is for their own agrandisment and it is ‘head’ knowledge that has mostly lead the way when its from the ‘heart of Jesus that we should be operating from. Todd is full of the verbals and ‘annointings’ and ‘fever of’ and attaining of that ‘his heart’ never seems to be on display only his mind and that speaks a lot about money and ‘eating junk food’ and enjoying himself!.
‘In a likeness’ takes on a whole ‘new meaning’ when you fathom out in just whos likeness your dealing with!
You hit the nail on the head, thanks
…that old term, “fast-talking used-car salesman” comes to mind for some reason…maybe they’re trying to sell something. (Apologies to honest used-car salesmen everywhere!)

Small town south east of Great Britain sounds close to London like Essex or something
My mother’s mother was born in Shropshire, England in 1906 and came to Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada at a very young age had not trace of an English accent.
Going to London, England in 1980 saw a lot of things. The news mentioned there are more churches in London, most of them are empty.
St Paul’s Cathedral C of E was popular for both worshippers and tourists. A Roman Catholic Church there had a really nice atmosphere in it too.
I’ve never heard of so I went to Google, typed “Tommy Tenney” “Bill Johnson” and while I was at it “Todd Bentley” got some fairly good information on them all on Wikipedia
All three are from North America, two from the United States and one from Canada
Around 1980 there was a Pastor Arthur Shepherd and sons Rev Loel Shepherd, Brent Shepherd, daughter and wife. The whole family ministered together. They were at the Evangelistic Tabernacle on Quebec E10th in Vancouver, British Columbia. He got kicked out by the board and 2/3ds of the congregation followed him. The church was non-denominational charismatic that leaned towards the Apostolic Church of Pentecost. It was originally called the Pyramid Temple. It was a big 1909 Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church became St Giles’ United in 1925(Methodist Presbyterian United in 1925:United Church of Canada) they moved up to W41st Oak around 1944 then Pyramid Temple moved in.
They formed Bible Life Assembly and used the Holiday Inn on South East Marine Dr Fraser and got free rent since they’d been kicked out. The Evangelistic Tabernacle closed to be used by a theater group then became condominiums.
The Shepherds made a fair number of trips to England to Evangelize. Seems that Tommy Tenney, Bill Johnson an Todd Bentley are doing something quite similar.
The Cradle Mother Church, the Church of England is now outnumbered by Anglicans in Africa and China.
Tommy Tenny is a son of a United Pentecostal minister in Louisiana, United States of America. He’s written around 50 books and has something called ‘God Chasing’
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tommy_Tenney
Bill Johnson is a 5th generation minister with 4 children in ministry
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Johnson_(pastor)
So, the first two sounds like minister and ministering families is not really too unusual. Aptitudes can be passed down. Family dynamics can have an influence too. I find can be a good academic aptitudes in the areas of book reading like literature and poetry amongst a number of clergy.
In my father’s family are two Congregational (Calvinist) ministers in Nova Scotia, Canada and two Episcopal (Church of England in the United States of America) ministers, a Priest and Bishop of Florida. The family had moved from Nova Scotia as in the 1800 was a connection with New England in the United States.
Todd Bentley seemed to have the most of the three written about him in Wikipedia. He’d had some early family problems, etc. But Todd Bentley is a human as we all are.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Todd_Bentley
John P.:
FWIW, Todd Bentley hasn’t preached at Glad Tidings in the past 8 years anyways. His ministry did stage a series of Vancouver crusade meetings there, but that was during his first “dark night of the soul”. He was nowhere to be seen. Others spoke on his behalf for FFM.
To the best of my knowledge, in that time frame, Bentley only spoke at a small church in SE Vancouver in 2002. He then moved to the MacPherson Centre in Burnaby for the next few nights.
Rick Hiebert
Around 2002-3, I was told about Todd Bentley from a person from North Shore Alliance who was part of the group who first told me about Fresh Fire Ministries, Abbotsford which was 2003-4.
I was told about something in 2004-5 at, I though was Glad Tidings, I’m sure I remember seeing an ad about it too.
That would’ve been about 5 years ago now.
I didn’t want to go over the mistaken identity made to me at Worship Invasion 04 Peace Portal about slandering me about the ‘praying ove the woman and taking the ring off of her finger’ just didn’t want to deal with something I didn’t do, so I decided not to investigate.
John I think its wise to be aware of ‘whats out there’ its something that enables us to keep in touch with people and to get to know what makes them who they are and where they are coming from. Many would try and deceive us and lead us astray. I visit the Anglican Church, Charismatic Church and the Catholic Church and so on, in order to be able to understand ‘their ways’ and what motivates them and to learn. The Father never lets me down but sometimes his church does when they won’t allow him in in his fullness. Some of these people like control to much.
By the way Shropshire is lovely.
