Christian PR firm sues Carrie Prejean

The scandal plagued former beauty queen in another legal spat. Really. She is being sued.

Here is the court document.

A. Larry Ross Communications represent many big ‘religious celebrities’ in the US.

Ms. Prejean, a Miss USA contestant, hired the firm in April 2009 to guide her through her new religious right celebrity after her beauty pageant dust up.

A. Larry Ross Communications agreed to media representative services, gave her extensive interview training, pr, lawsuit and settlement negiotiation support with her beef against the Miss California organization and set up her approval appearance with Donald Trump. Trump took her Miss California title away from her in June 2009.  She went on the religious right talk circuit and wrote a book.

A. Larry Ross Communications alleges Ms. Prejean and her handlers owe the company  $64,857.00. The firm is also requesting court and legal fees.

Prejean got engaged to football player Kyle Boller in February.
Here is the video of her appearance at the church she attends – The Rock Church -headed by former football player Miles McPherson.

Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed. Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. Romans 13.8 (ESV)

Sugar pink frosting can play havoc with the dietary ‘hopes’ of ones desires

Pay up and look happy dear Jesus just loves a cheerful giver!

  2. Torontonian says:

I looked at portions of the video recording and it
    leaves me with several questions.

Why does it look and feel more like a television program
with a clapping, whistling and cheering audience?

Why does it look more like a knock off of Leno or
some other personality driven chat show?

Why does the tape look more personality driven
    than message driven?

    But–most importantly

    Where’s the cross?

  3. Therese says:

Good question, Torontonian – the cross has gone AWOL from the pampered North American church, and that ‘man of sorrows aquainted with grief’ is hard to find…seems to be an imposter standing in His place dressed in a clown suit..
