Drew Marshall show tomorrow – some bloggers

Saturday (tomorrow) April 10th, 2010 Drew Marshall, who won a spot in many hearts with this appearance on Canadian religious TV, will have some bloggers on his radio talk show.

Two Canuck bloggers are in the line up, along with two guys from the US.

Marshall had Michael Spencer (The Internet Monk) on his show a few years ago, and I suspect Michael’s online influence and the loss bloggers are feeling by news of his death this week might be discussed.

It’s always interesting to see/hear cross platform media at work.

Update: The audio is here.

PS: His comment on 100 Huntley Street “”You guys are the ‘Ken & Barbie’ of Christian television…the sign of a good church is how many ugly people there are,” brings this to mind. And yes, Episcopal Barbie has her own Facebook page and almost as many fans as Drew.

His strength is made perfect in weakness – Drew may have ADD, ADHD, and ABCDEFG, but look how he is challenging the institutional, old-wineskin church! Good on ya, Drew! Gotta hand it to Huntley St. for having him on though, I think there are some there who agree with him, but they’re stuck in their own particular ‘culture’ and maybe just don’t know how to get out. Just want to encourage Drew that fighting that battle in ourselves is what it’s all about, it’s exactly the good fight of faith. We are saved by grace, not by sinlessness, and I think it’s the ones who aren’t fighting any battles who should be worrying because that battle is the mark of a believer – it’s the spirit in head-on conflict with our fallen flesh. Noticed it starting as soon as I received Jesus..
