Sarah Palin on 100 Huntley Street! You betcha!

BURLINGTON, ONTARIO, CANADA – April 20, 2010. She has been criticized, ostracized, loved, hated and imitated, but she is changing the face of politics. An interview with Sarah Palin, former Governor of Alaska, U.S. Vice Presidential Candidate, pro-life supporter and advocate for children with special needs, will be shown in a special edition of Always Good News on CTS TV (www.ctstv.com), Wednesday, April 21st at 5:30pm EST and again at 12:00 noon EST on April 22nd.The entire interview will also be featured within Canada’s longest running daily TV program, 100 Huntley Street, airing the following Tuesday on April 27th at 9 am on CTS TV and Global.

As the only Canadian Television interview on this visit north, Connie Smith who hosts Always Good News(AGN) will be tracking Palin’s meteoric rise from small town Alaska hockey Mom, to international celebrity, and most recently the darling of the Tea Party Movement that has shaken the U.S political system with it’s strong opposition to growing government and higher taxation.

“The interview was great”, says Ms. Smith, “It was one of only two granted by Governor Palin. The other was a print news outlet. I caught up with her on camera after she spoke to a crowd of 900 people at Carmen’s Banquet Centre in Hamilton, Ontario, recently where she was instrumental in raising $50,000 for The Charity of Hope for needy children.”  Connie Smith has been one of the most recognizable and engaging personalities on the air in Southern Ontario for more than 30 years. Since September 2009, Ms. Smith has been the Producer and host of Always Good News seen daily on CTS.

Sarah Palin is the author of the New York Times best seller, “Going Rogue:  An American Life”, a TV commentator and host of an upcoming multi-part reality style series on her home state of Alaska. As a wife, mother of five and grandmother, she has a unique, grass roots approach to issues that resonate with conservative individuals but is considered controversial by many media outlets.

Michael Coren got Ann Coulter to interview on his CTS and call her a fellow journalist.
This is ‘television you can believe in.’ You betcha. The 12+ million dollar ex-governor will be a brief viewer boost to the struggling and battered company. She drew a full crowd to the Southern Baptist Convention Women of Joy conference in Louisville  Kentucky last week.

Connie Smith works out of the Ontario Crossroads CTS studio and unlike many religious show hosts/producers has solid experience and talent. This will be interesting, you think?  Think Smith can steer Palin away from her infamous word salads?

“We used to hustle over the border for health care we received in Canada. And I think now, isn’t that ironic?” –Sarah Palin

“I didn’t really had a good answer, as so often — is me. But then somebody sent me the other day, Isaiah 49:16, and you need to go home and look it up. Before you look it up, I’ll tell you what it says though. It says, hey, if it was good enough for God, scribbling on the palm of his hand, it’s good enough for me, for us. – Sarah Palin

I don’t know if I should Buenos Aires or Bonjour, or… this is such a melting pot. This is so beautiful. I love this diversity. Yeah. There were a whole bunch of guys named Tony in the photo line, I know that. Sarah Palin in Hamilton

You know how many people ask me on the campaign trail if I was Canadian? They think that we talk alike. We say ‘eh’ too, in Alaska. Never thought anything of it until some reporters… I’m the dingy one and they’re asking me if I’m Canadian as I’m running for VP. These reporters, because of the way that I talk. I feel right at home here with you all, I think we share a lot with that accent. – Sarah Palin in Hamilton Globe & Mail transcript.

Update: A commenter writes: “It’ll be interesting to see how many times Palin uses words like: redemption, grace, salvation, forgiveness. I’d like to see a word cloud of the text of her interview and one of the address printed in the Globe and Mail.” The word cloud from the Hamilton charity appearance is easy. The CTS/100 Huntley Street interview, not so much. You’d have to be a dedicated Palin fan to transcribe the Smith/Palin  interview and have lots of time to kill. I’m not and I don’t. ;^)

    True;

Wind ups achieve very little, the world runs on one long wind up! give little to the masses and keep them guessing (in the land of the blind the one eye’d man is KING!)

To be in the world but not of it gives you the power to wind ‘things’ up , its a painful process when you have to leave ‘hells delights’ when you do though, it puts you in control of them, not them in control of you!

    Thats real power

Not that your winding anybody up of course!!!!!!

You know some people are excellent at cover ups but first you have to wind up (confuse!), to enable the cover up!

Who’s turning the handle of the wind up is the question; Enemy strategy – - Stand!, Wind up! cover up! then enjoy the ensuing ‘hell’.

KNOW YOUR ENEMY is what Jesus was showing his disciples!

Spirit of greed, venoms, carnal passions,

    OUT of his/her/ their……..HOPE

    Who rules hell

We all do if we don’t get it out of our system

Jesus was the expert showing his disciples how to overcome the one who thought he was!

I hate wind ups don’t you

  2. Hopesome says:

Jesus always said I LOVE YOU – and set about showing you the ones who coudn’t wouldn’t.

Barabas – who among you is a thief (and would steal your joy, hope, life (wealth of )

Who will deny you (in your hour of need!)

Who will betray you (in your hour of need)

Allow me to show you your weakness’s (your dependency’s in other words!) so I can strengthen you

Allow me to show you stategy when under attack ie; keep quiet, observe, hear what ‘he/she’ has to say ie; (wait on me) then I will gift you the answer.

Sarah’s strings are being ‘pulled’ ; is one thing; seemng to enjoy it is quite another! Opinion ‘fact’ or truth’ – only discernment will tell you AND DISCERNMENT OF THE HIGHEST ORDER IS POWER INDEED

    So who has it!

The Palin chat is online – Crossroads (CTS/100 Huntley) chose to bill it as “Sarah Palin: Female U.S. Vice Presidential Candidate 2008″.

Cantelon’s disclaimer is basic: “Crossroads does not take any political stance and Palin sought us out…”

I think saying Connie Smith was star struck for seven minutes is an understatement.
Pre-interview video was the classic security guys and grand stairway entrance celebrity stuff.
Oh and a shot of a Global TV truck of course as in see, we got an exclusive.

To call it an interview is a stretch, Palin/Crossroad fans won’t care, CTS works with what they’ve got. Could have been ETalk or Entertainment Tonight, it’s publicity geared to fans.

Is it customary to call someone who has left office by their former title – governor?

The shots are tight, it looks like they did the chat in a bathroom (female dressing room?). It’s geared to the 54 year old female viewer, the identified demographic of religious programming like 100 Huntley.

  4. Hopesome says:

I am so grateful for watching the video clip ya know it just sooooo made me feel YUK – having a wonderful time and folksy and ‘gooor-geous’ and oozing such sweet delight – you can but admire the tactics

    ONE BIG HONEY TRAP

    Re: Torontonian’s Reply #1

Comparing Sarah Palin to Faytene Kryskow in how they don’t make themselves clear.

Well, Faytene Kryskow is suspected of having ties with the New Apostolic Reformation but is not clear as to whether this is true or not. So, with this, she does not get to the point.

On the other hand, with Sarah Palin, she seems to have a way of not being overly clear either. This results in not getting to the point too.

Could Sarah Palin also have ties with the New Apostolic Reformation?

    Could Sarah Palin be NAR?

Faytene Kryskow doesn’t admit to being NAR

If it proves to be true that Sarah Palin is NAR, I don’t think she’d clearly admit it either!

Just picked up Going Rogue, very inexpensive, at Value Village…should be an interesting read, judging by the comments thread here. :)

Typed “Going Rogue” in search on this blog and there is an article about it.

How come true aka gordon driver can equate me with the CIA/mossad scapegoat Osama bin Laden [died Dec 16/2001] and be considered polite? Bin Laden never claimed to be a born-again pentecostal Christian, did he? This is known as “straw-man redirection and projection. I don’t “feel” I am a Christian, I am one according to nthe most strictest of all criteria: the Bible. I do not follow man-made creeds nor subjective interpretations. “Whosoever believes on the Son has life” is not just parrotting of that verse and then in my personal or professional life [I am a small business owner] being dishonest to others and scamming people out of their money.

Site policy is the golden rule, and yet driver can belittle myself at whim? Alas and alack, the world is full of people who profit themselves by transferring others’ money into their own accounts, scruples be damned.
[on a side note, I see one of Robert Schuller Jr.'s business ventures is "God TV" run by fake last namers Rory & Wendy Alec, who have actually THREE last names!

    So "Christian" ]

    John:

Sarah Palin’s ties to the New Apostolic Reformation are well documented.

    Try Talk2Action, they’ve documented carefully.

Let us know what you think of the book.
The writer is Lynn Vincent who used to work for World Magazine.

  10. Bene Diction says:

    Hi Lawrence:

Sorry, I didn’t catch that December comment, you’re correct, it isn’t adhering to site policy.
Robert Schuller Jr has partnered with one of the guys who started GodTube in a company called ComStar Media Fund, and is running American Life Network.
It wasn’t making money before, not sure it is now.

  11. True says:

    Larry and BD,

I agree comments should adhere to the site policy, so BD starting scrubbing. BD that would include comments made by you too.

You want scrubbing, start your own blog, I’ll live with my mistakes, thanks. BD

Sometimes people are forced to make mistakes. Sometimes people choose to make mistakes and don’t try to correct them. Both kinds can be costly.

  13. Hopesome says:

The biggest mistake is making your mistake someone elses!

    Clean up your ACTS

they don’t effect- affect anyone elses that way….

    Re Reply # 59

Typed ‘Talk 2 Action: Lynn Vincent’ and read an article about the leanings of Lynn Vincent & World Magazine is interesting.

Also Sarah Palin’s ‘Going Rogue’ and an article about this on Bene Diction Blogs On

How Lynn Vincent is a ‘Ghost Writer’ for Sarah Palin

How a ‘Ghost Writer’ will write for someone other than themselves.

Looked up Talk 2 Action as well read an article by Diane Vera ‘Publicizing of the NAR’

This is about bringing the New Apostolic Revolution out into the open through the media.

The article mentions there can be difficulties in the media recognizing NAR to the point writing articles about it.

With Sarah Palin’s involvement on politics as well as being NAR.

  15. michael says:

well as far as sarah pallin goes, they say god does work in strange ways, well he sure did in sarahs case. but im sure he loves her also. but it seems that the non denominational religions since billy graham hagge enwet ect are more in religion for politics, then saving souls or drawing us too jesus . sure religions can dictate rights and wrongs like abortion gay marriage ect but once they become biased in a country with two polarized partys left or right and they pick sides just for one or two issues , theres many more then two issues when david manze condems the postal workers because he cant get his donations and it puts his tv show in jepordy well use purolater since they believe in the private sector and claim they can do it better and cheaper then doe it ,,.once religion becomes biased against political partys there not of GOD there of money and greed ,and causes politics too become less democratic oh sure im sure they have helped people. but so did hittler

  16. Brano says:

Let it be known, that Todd Palin,Sarah’s husband is a full blown Freemason!
