Rhonda Glenn  (nee: London)  a 1985 was an employee of Crossroads Christian Communications Inc. show 100 Huntley Street, wife of St. Georges minister Ray David Glenn, and filled in as a guest on the former show she co-hosted (corrects from hosted – BD) during the difficulties Crossroads faced last summer.
She talked excitedly and passionately about her dreams of graduating from Osgoode hall this year, her son and her future with her husband and as a lawyer.
Rhonda Glenn went to hospital with a migraine a few weeks ago. She was sent home. She returned and was sent home again.  Finally doctors did a scan and discovered a gliablastomo in the mid-line of her brain.  She was admitted for care April 19th. A few days later her doctors announced they were unable to operate, and they diagnosed it as state 2.
She was in pain, having seizures, and Hamilton doctors sent her home for comfort before beginning radiation this week.
She was returned to ICU with extensive brain swelling after her first treatment.
Rhona  Glenn died yesterday afternoon. The funeral arrangements are on her husbands church site – St. Georges – a  breakaway church in the Anglican Network in Canada, based in Burlington Ontario. Rhonda Glenn’s funeral will be held at Queensway Cathedral in Toronto.
Hundreds of people have followed this quick and painful journey of this young wife and have poured out their support and prayers to the Glenns.
I am sorry for the loss her loved ones are going though and extend my deepest sympathy to son Matthew, husband David Ray Glenn, fellow law students and church family. Rhonda died yesterday.

According to Crossroads Rhonda Glenn was employed with CTS before moving into co-hosting on the flagship show. (date corrected above – BD)
Rhonda hosted Rhonda London Live on CTS TV for four years until November 2002 when she became the co-host with David Mainse on Canada’s longest running daily program 100 Huntley Street. She continued to host and to interview guests on the program for four years until stepping down from on-air television responsibilities in the fall of 2006 to take up studies at Osgoode Hall where she pursued a law degree.

How sad. I think it is wonderful that she will be called to the Bar posthumously. Deepest sympathy to her family.
I lost a friend from cancer this week; his journey was both heartbreaking and devastating and yet held by such honour and dignity that it left me both ‘raging at such a ‘passage’ to have to go through in such ‘horror’ and yet in awe of the one who held the whole of the circumstances in his ‘life as our friend slowly lost his. There are things that just aren’t right and need to be and there are things that just don’t ‘fit’ and need to…………. Its not right because it shouldn’t have to be that way – and it doesn’t fit because the lord isn’t that way…. One thing I learn’t was to bow – the bigger picture as it unfolded said I LOVE YOU – but I am left with – ‘then help me irradicate all of that which doesn’t..
PEACE hug us

I was stunned when I heard of Rhonda Glenn’s passing on May 26, 2010 when I was flicking through the channels this week so I decided to do a Google search to see if there was news on the net about this and I found this site.
I occasionally watched Channel 9 and I have seen Rhonda Glenn on the show occasionally and I wanted to know why she died so suddenly and I found my answer here.
I felt so sad after I heard the news even though I did not know here and I only saw her on television.
My condolences to her family.
What a tragic loss. I remember a half hour show that Ms. Glenn did on CTS some time ago. I also remember her appearances from time to time on 100 Huntley St. I had no idea she had finished law school. My prayers are with her family. She always seemed compassionate and caring when I saw her on tv. She was thoughtful and careful with each word. What a tragedy that she was taken so quickly. May God really touch her family because they will need it.
I apologize for my error in dates. At the time, information on Mrs. Glenn’s career was scant, and I offer no excuse for my mistake.
I also commend Osgoode Hall for acknowledging the completion of her degree.
I hope her friends who want to honour her with donations to her son’s education fund, do so through St. George’s and not Crossroads.
While I fully appreciate employees of Crossroads are also grieving the loss of a friend, the church seems better positioned to handle donations to the trust with care.
Rhonda Glenn was the brightest light of talent
on Crossroads TV. She had great interviewing
skills and asked perceptive questions that would
allow her visitor to expand–a sharp contrast to
the type of interview that fills CTS’s airwaves now.
Her leaving to learn law and practise it greatly
show her concern and compassion for the world.
She shall be remembered for her achievements.
Sadly, achievements aren’t the stock-in-trade
of most of the others on CTS.
Deeds, not words.
Dear Ray David and Matthew,
We are so sorry to hear of your tragic loss! Our heartfelt love and prayers are with you. We will all miss Rhonda until we see her again because she was such a bright light in all our lives, truly giving glory and pointing the way to the truth.
Take comfort in this: you WILL see her again!

Rhonda’s father in law was on the board of Crossroads which is why the organization may be soliciting money.
This looks bad for Crossroads, they own all her content and her husband’s content, and can re-package it any way they want.
I can appreciate staff is grieving given how close the Mainse and Glenn families are, and it’s good business practice for a broadcaster to put together a tribute tape – however, Crossroads have several up and rather than coming across as concerning, they come across as exploitive.
After two financial scandals last year, the company would have been better served to keep their solicitations out of this death.
Does the public know how Crossroads is handling solicitations?
Rev. Glenn’s church is perfectly capable of handling an educational trust fund for his son.
Has Crossroads done this around other staff members or former staffers who have died?
Expressing my deep sorrow in hearing the passing of such a great lady. She will be missed. I believe she has planted many seeds in the minds of many young and old women and only time will reveal the blooms God will reveal in His timing.
Praying for God’s constant loving arms sorround each of her precious family member during this sad time.
Thank you God for the gift of Rhonda’s life to the many of us.
May her life on earth be a reflection and a testimony of her love for God .. may God be glorified during this time.
Dear Family,
My husband, David, diagnosed hos own brain tumour, January 22, 2010, and 54 days later on march 16, 2010, but had no headaches or symptoms as such.
Love and prayers

GOD,S LOVE TOWARD THE FAMILY
Her last interview was “Roman Catholics are true Christians.”
I was utterly shocked when I accidentally stumbled on the news of Rhonda’s passing yesterday. I had’nt watched 100 HuntelyStreet for a greater portion of last year and had no idea she was gone . I used to watch her all the time before she left for law school. She was so young. My heart goes out to Ray David and Matthew. How do you explain this, except to say God gave and God has taken away. Secret things belong to God.We know in part but one day we will see the whole picture.
As a year approaches my prayer for her family is that the God of comfort will help them find comfort in the fact that she is resting at peace and free from pain with our Lord.
My sincere condolences to Ray David and Matthew. I just came upon the news of Rhonda’s passing today as David Mainse was breifly speaking with quite a few people on air and Ray David and Matthew were among these to celebrate 50 years of ministry for 100 Huntley Street. I remember watching the programs where Rhonda was hosting and what a wonderful lady she was. For our loving heavenly Father to take a loving wife and mother to be with Him is an encouragement for me because there are things in my life right now that I don’t understand why a loving God would allow this – I have a hip injury which has caused me to be off work from my teaching job that I love very much. But God does not make mistakes and His ways are higher than our ways, and for Him to take Rhonda who was His servant, just helps me to not try and understand my predicament, but to fully trust God because His ways are perfect.
I sorrow for you – may God comfort you.

I knew Rhonda in high school. We were very close. We made each other laugh. She had a wonderful sense of humor and uniquely wonderful laugh.
I lost touch as I went to university and then lived on the west coast. I will always remember her smile and sense of fun and appreciation of life. She will live on in my heart and my memory.
Thank you Rhonda
