Charles McVety owns G-20.ca domain name

It is costing Canadians 1 billion dollars to contain politicans for the G-8 and G-20 summits and the federal government can’t think about buying appropriate domain names.

Charles McVety owns the G-20.ca  URL.

According to Whois McVety bought the URL 2 years ago.
Approval date: 2008/11/10

Rick Mercer twittered this little gem 21 hours ago.
Steller lineup for this summit: Michael Coren, Karl Rove, Brian Rushfeldt, Frank Dimant. Wow.
McVety did some cyber-squatting in 2005, buying up federal Liberal candidate URL names.

Update: The Galloping Beaver points out something I missed.

Now tell me. How is it that Charles McVety knew to lock down the G20.ca URL when the rest of us didn’t get the official word that Harper was planning a gazillion dollar photo-op in Canada before December 2009?

Hmmm???

Honestly, there’s no “Religious Right” in Canada…

Just for education sake, it might be worth the readers to research what the Orthodox Jews are saying about Israel. Some may even side with Iran and personally, I can’t blame them if they do. It will be interesting to see what happens with the MV Rachel Corrie.
