Todd now flirting with the A&E channel

A tweet from Todd Bentley’s Twitter feed yesterday reads like this:

Another meeting about reality show. Could have another network A & E interested now too. Discovery or A & E ????

I would say that Todd should not be negotiating with two networks at the same time. Shouldn’t he be faithful to Discovery, the network that first expressed an interest, and allow them to have first right of refusal on the idea?

I wouldn’t think that playing one TV network against the other would be ethical for a minister to do. But, then again, this is Todd Bentley.

If A&E bites on the idea, hopefully they will sic “Dog the Bounty Hunter” on Todd first, to make sure that he is not hiding anything else before the show airs.

Hmmm. Not Dog The Bounty Hunter, Jeff VanVonderen of Intervention.

Todd Bentley couldn’t handle VanVonderen – he is a Christian, an addictions specialist, a former pastor , adjunct professor and instructor and author of five books including one which was a powerful read for me: The Subtle Power of Spiritual Abuse.
    The real deal.

Bentley is not a minister, he lied about ministerial associations, I doubt playing off producers with his pitch causes him to lose sleep.

Is it just me, or do you see a man starving for wider attention?

I believe it isn’t God’s will for Todd to be on TV. This is what happens when a man who is a liar is restored to ministry. Now Satan is back using Todd. They are getting the fame and money they want. In the end, they will be judged, Jessa included. I know God forgives but Todd is still covering up lies from the past, still lying about nonsense experiences, and still using the gospel for gain. If he takes a show on either of these networks, I think I will grieve so much I may not recover…

There’s a video on the ‘net where Todd has been re-ordained through Joyner’s Morningstar denomination so he can officiate at weddings, funerals, etc.

I’m tempted to hold out for Duane “Dog” Chapman, myself, but yours is a good suggestion too… :)

If the idea of a reality show with Todd takes flight, then I wonder what kind of name they will give it. How will it be classified? Supernatural I suppose. Who besides Todd will be in it? I hope Emma does not show up. What kind of a storyline would it be? Maybe something to do with restoration. What audience would watch it? Maybe the kind that falls for a hoax. This could just be another figment of Todd’s imagination.
