They are incredible! They migrate further than any other bird, and not in flocks! Solo. Some fly from N. Alaska to Panama. They can fly about 800 miles non-stop. That uses up half their body weight. Their metabolism is a miracle in itself. ~ God made them!
While living in Ventura California, I installed a hummingbird feeder outside my back door. After a few days, dozens of hummingbirds began flying around my back yard. In the evenings, they would perform a remarkable and breath-stopping aerial ballet. I love Vancouver but I miss those birds.
