There has recently been a question whether Faytene Kyskow is related to Louis Riel.
I have been scouring the post in question, which I wrote, and can’t spot the reference, but Google says that it was a reference to Faytene being related to a composer of O Canada (apparently correct) and Louis Riel as well.
As I cannot pull a citation at this moment where Faytene stated that she was related to Riel, I think it would be wise to assume that there was an error regarding to her ties to Riel, perhaps in the comments, that was not caught by me.
So, I am offering an apology to Faytene, and will also do so at the post concerned.
I also offer an apology to Bene D, and you my readers. I try to be very careful and I hope that the overwhelming bulk of what I write attests to that.
I am sick at heart about this, but the appropriate thing to do is to fess up that I did not catch an error and correct it immediately. This I am doing.
It’s totally OK to make mistakes, I do them all the time. How REFRESHING that you are able to say ‘sorry’ in such a simple way. Even worldy people admit when they do wrong and no one holds it against them. (not all of course, I know and it depends for what but I’m speaking generally). Would be great that those “leaders” act like normal human being. IT IS OK to admit mistakes. For the sake of unity and love, I will also confess something here: I admit that I once wrote a comment on FB at Faytene Kryskow’s public wall and I was a little harsh on it. I felt convicted by God. What I said may have been true BUT it wasn’t said in the right way and I felt SO STRONGLY CONVICTED, I removed it. It wasn’t bad words but just a little too straight forward and rude. So Faytene if you’re reading this, SO SORRY. It was the comment I made about you needing to stop promoting your face. Sorry about that. I really love you from my heart and you have a very beautiful face. Love & Blessings
PS: I still don’t agree with a lot of your teachings and associations and I know I’m right because when I listen to some of the things you say Holy Spirit convicts me it’s error, sorry I follow HIM and not Man. JESUS suffered too much for me, He paid a price TOO GREAT for me not to listen to Him. Love Him too much. He suffered too much !!!! when He didn’t have to :=) Thank you have a nice day sweetheart
By the way, the thread is now closed but I wanted to say THANK YOU to Bene D. for your honesty on the “God will make a way” thread. Sorry for posting here but I REALLY wanted to say thanks for the heartfelt words of encouragement, I felt the love of God in them. (Comment where I said I had been feeling very suicidal on one particular day.) Not everyday it’s like this, because I have gotten a lot of deliverance BUT for reasons beyond me, some days it’s just very dark, there are triggers sometimes if someone is very abusive or I get very tired. Your words were SO HEALING to me, I just read the comment now. Also concerning that woman who said when she got saved she didn’t feel the need to commit suicide, yes I know, I also don’t see the need, like I said it’s not an everyday thing, sometimes it’s psychological and it comes over me and I don’t understand why. There are triggers, it’s a complex issue but wow I’ve been healed so much already by the Lord and He removed me from a lot of bad triggers. IT’S OK TO BE HUMAN. About the “people going to hell if they commit suicide” the Lord has been speaking to me about this nonsense as well. People who commit suicide do it bc of extreme pain not because they are trying to murder themselves like they would murder someone out of hatred and revenge. God is merciful and being in extreme pain is not a sin; that’s all I have to say. Again sorry for posting this here, I just needed to get this off my chest. My relationship with God and seeing things has changed ever since I cut myself from all religious people and teachings, NAR/Third Wave/Fake Prophetic included and I have nothing against gifts, anointings, it’s just I focus on JESUS now and that’s it. The rest HE does. Not me.

I see you updated a post where a commenter made mention of Kryskow/Riel. The reference was not in your post and I would like to point out the standards you strive for:
In any of the books she’s written. It could’ve been the one called ‘Marked’ did Faytene Kryskow ever write about any ties to Louis Riel or not?
If she wrote that in her book, she wrote that in her book.
If she didn’t, she didn’t.
I’d looked through existing blogs on her, there’s been so many, to try to locate it and couldn’t. I can’t find all the old blogs on her on Bene D.
I think I remembered on a Bene D I commented about if Kryskow is the name she was born with and or what nationality she could be?
I think there was a reply to me from Bene D mentioning about one of the books Faytene Kryskow wrote. Something about some claim to be related to Louis Riel and who would bother checking that out. I was unable to find those comments. I think they were some time ago. There are so many blogs and comments as well.
But with her ties to Dominionism and what she claims to be tied to, I wouldn’t be suprised is she’d written in one of her books being related to Louis Riel.

So you have a good memory – that comment in 2009 was where ancestry came up, from my having read Stand on Guard.
You queried whether Ms. Kryskow was related to Riel and there are a couple of comments where you said I had said it or Dennis Gruending had. I’ve gone back in the archives and put in the Stand on Guard pp: 259 quote where applicable in reply to 4 ambiguous comments.
To put this to bed, Kryskow has not written in Stand on Guard or Marked that she is a descendant of Riel.

Let us be careful to NOT put personal experience and voices, above the word of God, ok?
1.Let us look at 2 examples of suicide in the Bible: Saul and Judas “Iscariot” (which means cosmopolitan or worldly). NB that both were rebellious against God. Saul against Samuel the prophet and who dabbled in witchcraft and was mentally distressed due to spirits the Lord sent to him due to his ways. God wanted Saul to repent. Judas – well he was with Christ 3 years and STILL did his own thing.
2. And what is pain? Pain strikes at our ego. We don’t like pain as it is invasive. We love ourselves. (The demonised sadists etc are a separate issue).
So when we are not getting our way and feel sorry for ourselves – that is exactly the time to seek the face of God.
“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up. God resists the proud, but He gives grace to the humble.
Therefore submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.

We are by (fallen) nature self-seeking: “The spirit that dwells in us always envies” James 4;1.
We (and I) don’t like discomfort!
The WORD states: “And you know that no murderer has everlasting life abiding in him.”
3. A murderer is akiller. Period. Cain was justified in murdering Abel because he suffered great internal pain and distress due to Abel being honoured by God. Not guilty? 1 jn 3.

I can add that I have read and heard occasional references by Faytene to Riel, but at no time have I heard from her that there is any connection whatsoever.
