I can imagine that Todd Bentley might have been running around to every grocery and news agents in Cwmbran, Wales, hoping that he could buy every copy of the Sunday Express that he could find before anyone read the newspaper’s story about his visit to preach there.
It’s Bentley’s first visit to Britain since the collapse of the Lakeland revival in 2008, and he evidently hopes to make up for lost time, preaching here in Wales until the 7th, and then in a town near London England on the 9th and 10th.

I logged onto Google UK News, and did a search for "Todd Bentley" and it brought up the story. Perhaps that will help until Bene D can work some magic. Anyways, Todd is bragging on his Twitter feed that he has people coming from other parts of Europe, but the Sunday Express, which has covered Bentley before, seems unimpressed.
One of the local MPs, David Davies of the Conservative Party is certainly worried.
The Sunday Express reports:
Tory MP David Davies, whose Monmouth constituency covers part of Cwmbran, said: “I go to church and respect Christian beliefs, but I am concerned that some of the claims made by Mr Bentley are far fetched and should be treated cautiously.”
It will make for an interesting few days for Bentley. Will other English papers–especially the national tabloids–pick up on this and follow the Express’ lead? Will Todd’s hand tremble a little as he drinks his breakfast cuppa?
This deserves more than I can give right now, so I hope to return to the story in a day or so. There’s interesting background–including what I interpret as Todd Bentley’s dare to the Daily Express and Sunday Express that their stories would be futile in preventing him from returning to Britain–which I hope to explore as I try to place this in context.
Have Britain’s newshounds caught a scent? We’ll have to see.
But if Todd Bentley cuts his visit to Britain really short, we’ll know why…

I wrote him a year ago. He continued his cancer treatments and was doing okay. Roger doesn’t credit his trip to Lakeland or the kick in the stomach, he was an innocent caught up in the controversy.
He is grateful for each day he has and seeks God and His Grace.
In the comment section at connections a Two Locks Church member, Jimmy popped in to talk about what he is seeing at the Bentley meetings, his reservations and his desires.

That particular *angel* was Missing in Action in Lakeland and hasn’t been seen since. Perhaps the Marital Fidelity angel is in hiding because angel Emma went psycho on her. : )
Todd originally came from my old home town, so I have heard a few stories about him over the years. One of the most concerning was from a family member who shared how he used to brag about all the stuff he was able to acquire. Kind of makes you wonder where his heart really was..on ministry, or in getting wealth.
He still tends to brag about his aquisitions on his twitter account. When you think about it, the delusions about 33 raised from the dead etc is a form of fantasy aquisition.
