What voters can do.

Responses from Canadians will be used to build legal cases that robocalls had significant — perhaps even determinant — effects on election outcomes. Neil said their cases will be strongest in ridings where many Canadians come forward saying their votes were suppressed by robocalls.

    But council of canadians is a left wing group with a strong anti Harper agenda.
    This looks like it was just a few morons thinking they could help out by cheating. It goes against the directions that Conservative campaign offices are given to get rid of volunteers who suggest dirty tricks.
    Think about it, in our ‘first past the post system’, if there was to be a systemic voter supression tactic, it would be concentrated in swing ridings. The conservatives concentrated most of their efforts in the swing ridings; Harper didn’t even show up in Calgary last election. So if the conservatives were really behind this, the calls would be concentrated in the close ridings.

    BC people have been posting about these robocalls, for absolute months. They have also posted, Harper campaigned over a Calgary radio station on election day, strictly forbidden. Harper also had an American convicted felon working for him. Some of the robocrimecon calls, came out of North Dakota. An American web site presscore says, Harper election win was rigged, to implant the NAU. If you read: Harper gives a speech in New York, at the Council of Foreign Relations, in Sept 25/2007. Harper fully endorsed the NAU. The rumor of the U.S. being involved, suddenly bears weight.

    No matter how you slice it, Harper’s Election win is compromised and is not valid. In BC Gordon Campbell lied to win two different elections. He should have been forced to resign. This kind of corruption, dirties the Democratic process.

    Both Harper and Gordon Campbell belong in prison.. Gordon Campbell was rewarded by Harper, for doing his dirty work for him. Campbell was given the post of, High Commissioner to England. Campbell has the dirtiest, most corrupt and foul, political record, ever in the recorded history of Canada. Harper is also the worst P.M. in the recorded in Canadian history as well.

    Dan, Harper didn’t just want to win, he wanted to utterly destroy the other parties. I’m not sure if you’re aware but every party receives a $2 per year subsidy for every vote they get in a federal election. This would explain why calls were made in both swing and landslide ridings. It wasn’t just about winning, it was about totally doing away with any competition by bankrupting them, the true capitalist (Harper) way.

    Legislation concerning eliminating this subsidy was introduced in the House a while ago but was defeated because he had a minority. I believe this has been planned and in the works for a while.

    PLEASE… not another $270 000 000 election… PLEASE!!! Give that money to elementary school teachers or something… For the love of God not another election!!!
