the agape (serving) of money is the root of all evil. robert reich tells in his book, aftershock, the economic disparity between the richest 1% and the middle and poor classes has grown to what is was in 1929. how much is enough for human spirit in its unfettered state? when everyday i walk past old homeless men and women my age, some just sleeping away the day on a corporate lawn, i do not stop and lay hands on them: i am not the medical intuit that jesus was. i have no power to do anything to fix them or improve their state. and if i sell what is left of my all and give the money to them, then the next day i will have joined their ranks and that is just plain insanity.
highrpm, those are some of the reasons we need to work for social and economic change. We need to change the way things are structured and the way things work.
