GOD TV is totally fine with Todd Bentley again

A brief e-mail from Todd Bentley’s ministry this afternoon reveals that the TV network thinks it quite alll right for the evangelist to appear on their network again starting tomorrow morning.

One of his helpers writes:

We are very excited to be announcing Todd Bentley’s return to GodTV. Rory and Wendy Alec believe the time is right for Todd and Jessa to join them in Israel to address the GodTV audience. This will be a time of restoration for many and we believe the Lord will show himself in a powerful way.….

Rory and Wendy Alec are the owners/guiding force behind GOD TV. This would naturally imply that whatever shenanigans on Todd’s behalf that were broadcast from Lakeland are just water under the bridge now.

The segment with Bentley starts at 10:30 am EST on January 20th.

Years ago right before Lakeland, he Lord told me Bentley’s website was rubbish and his preaching/teaching the same. That’s the word God used, rubbish. I then studied Todd in depth and found out that God was telling the truth, fancy that! Todd never repented for adultery; if he had, he would have admitted to sleeping with her over those months. In his repentance, he only admitted to an emotional attachment. Yet, he allegedly flew to Hawaii with her right after he left Lakeland. I don’t believe the guy truly knows God or God’s voice. He has downright lied about certain visions and experiences with God.
I don’t care about GodTV as I think they’re off in leaven land anyway. I will set my face toward God and keep walking after Him. These fancy preachers with their prosperity gospel, lies, tithes, and fancy ties can all have each other and the deceived.
Read the bible and follow Jesus. Todd Bentley will vanish like a vapor someday. Another will take his place. That’s the world we live in.

When a man is walking in sin everything that he says will be a half truth. Jesus warned the Pharisees of this. They cleaned the outside of the cup but the inside is filthy. They were getting part of it right but the other part was left undone. When there is sin in the camp, we will do one part right and the most important part will be left unkempt. If Todd were to repent and forsake his ways, redemption would follow. I heard him once and saw this woman doing some enchantments or something and had no interest in his art.

Then Jeremiah the prophet said to Hananiah the prophet, “Listen now, Hananiah, the LORD has not sent you, and you have made this people trust in a lie. Therefore thus says the LORD, ‘Behold I am about to remove you from the face of the earth. This year you are going to die, because you have counselled rebellion against the LORD’. So Hananiah the prophet died in the same year in the seventh month. Jeremiah 28 15-17.

When Todd had an affair he was seeking ‘redemption’; Redemption from a marriage that was not all that he wanted it to be. Redemption was Jessa! For many its the easy way out. His religious life was redeemed by Joyner and the gang. So if Todd is in fact going to be redeemed then those redemptions have to be ‘taken’ for redemption to not only take place but be effective. You can’t put new wine in an old wine skin right!

The likes of those he associates with tend to gloss over not only truth and true redemption but deny other people its life love and passion in doing so: His journey while still in a religious setting is allowing him to continue ‘unsorted’ and nobody is seemingly doing anything about it which is what makes people question him (and them) the whole time and get angry in the process!

Redemption is taking those strongholds in your life that have become your life because until you have lost your /that life you can’t take on ‘Jesus’s’ … So redemption is cleaning out the body, mind, spirit, and souls desires.

  5. Susan says:

Mathew 5:13 is interesting. A follower of Christ Jesus should be like salt. Back in Jesus’ day if the salt was not pure, it was considered good for nothing. Pure salt was a preservative and valued. A light that shines in darkness can illuminate a great amount of space. Now, if a follower was to loose his way in Christ, then his salt shall become tanted. The light of this follower will not shine through the darkness as it once did.

I think for other followers to try and bring this one back with strong correction would be expected. Yet, not the same for the one who does not know Christ yet. The salt of Jesus should not be tanted, nor His light dimmed. For how will those who don’t know Christ Jesus find him?
