Rumours should only be a Johnny Crawford song

Earlier today, I thought that a piece of news might be forthcoming on the Internet based on something I read.

I’m not the type to go “Okay, this person is standing next to Brezhnev at the May Day parade, so….” Facts are good and godly.

So I was dismayed to see that a Google search related to what I was wondering is high up on Google.

Rumours are only good then they are a Johnny Crawford song. I think you may agree, as Christians seem to like rumours sometimes.

What? You don’t think a Christian version of the National Inquirer wouldn’t be profitable?

  2. Mark Byron says:

It was also a killer Fleetwood Mac album, spelled British-style since Mick Fleetwood is British if memory serves. Mentally, I had it without the “u”, but that isn’t the case.

Rob, a Christian Enquirer wouldn’t be overly Christian, since gossip is a no-no, but it would sell, sadly.

Mark–my bad, no doubt it lacked the u on the 45 label, but I think Crawford would forgive the Canadian spelling fix :)

I may have the 45 but it’s not at hand
